Olivia's POV
As we stepped out of the restaurant, the cool night air hit my face, a welcome relief from the stuffy interior. I felt pleasantly full but also slightly tipsy from the expensive wine.
"Well, that was... something," I said casually.
Christopher chuckled. "Indeed it was. I trust you enjoyed yourself?"
"Oh yeah, totally. Who doesn't love eating food that costs more than their rent?"
"Careful, darling. Your sarcasm is showing."
I grinned, feeling bold. "Shall we walk? I could use some fresh air to clear my head."
To my surprise, Christopher nodded. "Why not? A bit of exercise might do us both some good."
As we started down the sidewalk, I couldn't help but sneak glances at him. Even in the dim streetlight, he looked annoyingly handsome. It wasn't fair, really.
"So," I began, sounding nonchalant, "are you busy tomorrow? Will you be at the rehearsals?"
"I've got a lot of work to catch up on. Why do you ask?"
