CHAPTER 81

  Olivia's POV

I felt my breath catch as Christopher's words hung in the air. "I know. But I want to." His voice was low, almost a growl, sending shivers down my spine.

"Why?" I managed to squeak out, my heart racing.

He was quiet for a moment, and I could practically see the gears turning in his head.

Finally, he spoke, his voice thick with emotion. "Because you're my girl, Olivia. And the thought of other men ogling you in those skimpy outfits... it drives me fucking crazy."

I blinked, taken aback. "Your girl?" I echoed, my voice confusing. Was that excitement?

"Yes," he said firmly, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

"Excuse me? Your girl?" I scoffed, crossing my arms. "Last time I checked, I wasn't anybody's 'girl'. We're not even in a relationship. Hell, we're not even lovers!"
