  Christopher's POV

  I studied Olivia's face as she said, "But you're right. We should probably keep things... tamer. For Logan's sake." Her words said one thing, but her body language screamed another.

  "Are you sure that's what you want?" I asked, my voice husky.

  She bit her lip. "No," she admitted softly. "But I have to agree to it."

  "You don't have to agree to anything, darling. That's the beauty of our arrangement."

  "It's not that simple, Christopher."

  "Isn't it? We're both adults here. We can make our own decisions."

  "Yeah, well, some of us don't have billions to cushion the fallout of those decisions," she muttered.

  I laughed outright at that. "Fair point. But money isn't everything, you know."

  "Says the billionaire."

  "Touché." I grinned, then sobered. "Look, Olivia, I meant what I said earlier. We can limit the... rougher activities to two or three times a month. The rest of the time, we'll keep things vanilla."
