CHAPTER 183

  Olivia's POV

  I plopped down into one of the sleek leather chairs around the table and grabbed a piece of sushi. "This better be good," I muttered around a mouthful of nigiri. "You know, to make up for ruining my lunch break."

  He took the seat across from me. "I assure you, it's some of the best sushi in Los Angeles."

  "Yeah, well, you'd know all about the best, wouldn't you?" I shot back, popping another piece into my mouth. Goddamn it, it was delicious. "Best food, best view, best everything."

  "Not everything," he said quietly, watching me with his intense eyes.

  "Don't get all mushy on me now," I warned, waving my chopsticks in his direction. "We had a deal - no more relationship talk."

  "Fine," he said, but a glint in his eye told me he wasn't letting it go that easily.
