Natalie was being carried by Luke, and she didn't resist at all. She stayed still, not even blinking, her expression completely lifeless.
Seeing Luke about to carry her away, I panicked and ran a few steps to block their way.
"You can't take Natalie with you."
"My good friend, do you think it's really suitable for her to sit out here in this cold weather?"
After mocking me, Luke just walked around me, stepped forward, and put Natalie into his car.
"Natalie, listen to me." A voice urgently called from behind.
I turned around, and Zachary was staggering towards us, slapping his hands against the car window.
"Natalie, don't go with him! Get out of the car! I know you're angry, you can yell at me or hit me, do whatever you want to vent, but just get out, okay?"
At that moment, Zachary had completely lost any sense of masculine pride. His desperate pleading made him look pitiful.
"Stay away." Luke shoved Zachary aside.
