CHAPTER 20

  Aria's POV

I was getting slightly antsy. It had almost been an hour, and I hadn't heard anything from Knox. I really wanted to leave the Gray Moon Pack as soon as possible.

He had said he needed to handle a few things before leaving. Maybe those things were delaying him. I thought to myself.

I waited, and waited. It was getting harder to sit still, and I began pacing like Knox.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, a knock sounded on the door.

I rushed to the door with a smile on my face. However, my smile faded when I saw that it wasn't Knox.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I stared at the unfamiliar man that stood before me. He had warm brown eyes that shone with kindness. He had dark black hair neatly combed back and a grin on his face. He had a muscular frame; he was wider than Knox, but he was shorter than Knox.
