Aria's POV
"You're pregnant."
The moment the words left Hunter's mouth, the training field felt deathly silent. Even the twins, who had been laughing moments ago, stiffened.
I gulped. "I thought Knox told you."
Hunter's nostrils flared again, and he clenched his fist. "No, he didn't." His voice was calm, but there was a sharp edge in his tone that made me know that he was anything but calm.
My mind flashed back to my discussion with Knox about telling Hunter my pregnancy. I had made him trust me that I was going to tell Hunter myself, but honestly, I hadn't wanted to tell Hunter just yet. I didn't want him to go too easy on me, but it had later skipped my mind later on to tell him.
Zane and Zander exchanged nervous glances before they stepped back with panic in their eyes, like people that had unknowingly committed a crime.
"We didn't know, Luna—"
Hunter shot them a glare, and they went silent instantly. He turned to me with an accusing glare.
