CHAPTER 27 Save Her

  Jenny POV

"Nyla," I called when I entered her room, her bedsheets were neatly arranged like no one had ever laid on them before. I move over to the baby's crib. There was no baby.

"Nyla," I called again, leaning my ears to the bathroom to see if she was taking her shower. The water was running which means someone was in there.

"Nyla," I called again but there wasn't any answer. Probably she needed some privacy. I headed over to the kitchen, I was done making breakfast and I came to call her. Nyla stayed in one room while my mother and I shared the same room.

Settling in one of the chairs, my mother was busy having her regular early reading. I wondered why she does that but she once told me the best time to read was the early hours of the morning. I never took that seriously but it was becoming one of her daily routines.

"Ah," I remembered something as I headed downstairs to call Lucian. At least he will have breakfast with me instead of me eating alone.
