Nyla POV
I got to book an appointment with the doctor and was glad that Jenny and Mama T understood the reason for letting Jason know about his son.
It's a bright new day, and I wake up early to watch the sunrise. Standing by the window, I see an orange hue strewn across the sky. The cold air sends chills down my spine. I've been anticipating this day. I glance back at Felix's crib- he didn't let me sleep much last night.
Taking a deep breath with my eyes shut and my hands apart, I embrace a fresh breath of a new beginning. I still wondered if Mia was still looking for us. I left just like she wanted me to just so I didn't put my loved ones in danger.
"Morning Nyla," I turned around to see Mama T standing behind me with her thin lips raised. Is she still angry with me? We hardly spoke last time and didn't even bother returning for dinner last night.
