"We have to be careful, I don't know what Jason is up to."
"We have to get the contract documents from David, he still has it, and he could use that against us," Alan suggested.
"Has someone taken care of him?"
"Nyla will be meeting David tomorrow, we can use him to get the laundromat back to its owner."
The door cracked open, and my assistant walked in.
"Excuse me, ma'am. I'm sorry, but this is urgent." I gestured for her to walk into the office. I put my meeting with Alan on hold while I read through the letter handed to me by my pa.
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed in great shock, standing on my foot.
"Akan, this meeting is over, we will continue when I get back, my granddaughter is in danger." I rushed to the car park, my heart pounding heavily within me.
