CHAPTER 79 You Deserve The Best

  Mama T POV

"Do you think we made the right decision?" I asked Jenny, who was seated at the dining table with me.

"I know you miss her so dearly."

"What if something goes wrong? You know I promised her father I would take care of her." Jenny reached out her hand and squeezed it a bit.

"When I was kidnapped, I thought I wasn't going to see you anymore. I thought I would be killed," my voice cracked as I spoke. I could remember those days. The most horrible days of my life. I have experienced the worst, but this was overboard. Alone with a stranger who wants to buy my laundromat but turns out to be after my own life.

She opened up a wound I tried to heal from over the years. My son, the one I never told Jenny about. Bringing him back will cost the death of someone else, and I can't lose two pups at the same time. What if the right doesn't work?
