"She didn't come back last night." I paced around the living room. Checked the wall clock times without a number and wondered why she's not back yet.
Since yesterday... If she's angry, at least she should be home and stay angry with me just like she used to be.
She doesn't have to necessarily make me worry about her safety before she can prove her point.
And I dare not call my grandmother to ask after her. She will gladly scold me for neglecting her when she's the one who took herself out of the house.
She didn't necessarily do that because she wanted to. I made her leave. My inner self said to me. No woman is glad to catch their husband cheating on them whether she loves him or not.
Why should I care how she feels? What has it got to do with me when it comes to what she actually feels?
I checked the time again. It was past midnight. Damn it! I can guess where she might be...My grandma's place... but not being too sure scared me to my wits.
