CHAPTER SEVENTY EIGHT ALL SHE NEEDS

  DAHILA

"WOW!" I yelled clapping my hands when Ollie delivered the news, "Congratulations, come take a seat first before you tell us about this wonderful news about the two of you." I ushered them into a seat.

The anger in me was swelling. I could almost bear through it especially when Davis couldn't stop staring at Nat.

The bitterness at the back of my throat was enough to make me scream. I couldn't eat, I just doodled over my food.

"Eat," Davis said as he helped me scoop some food into my spoon, "You have barely eaten since you sat there."

How can I eat when they're making this space uncomfortable for me? In the end, it was such a bad idea to do this. What did I achieve when I invited them over? I just invited more problems for myself.

"Thank you," I said and tried to eat but the next moment, Natalie lifted her spoon and placed a chunk of meat on Davis' plate. I felt nauseous.
