Macy POV
I wake up in the morning, and my bed is nothing but a tangle of arms and legs. Though I went to sleep with neither twin touching me, in the middle of the night, we became intertwined.
Hesitantly, I open my eyes, only expecting to see Winston holding me, but Edward's arms and legs are wrapped around me, too. Wiggling my arms out from under them, I notice that markings on my arms have gotten darker and have spread further.
I am studying them carefully when there is a knock on my door. I attempt to get out of bed, but the twins tighten their arms around me and pin me to the bed. The knocking gets louder, and my mother's voice yells through the door. "Macy, we need to talk."
Edward growls at my side, "She is sleeping."
"Let me up," I whisper. "I need to speak to her. We need to air out some grievances."
Winston tenses beside me. "Do you want us to come with you?"
"No," I shake my head, but I am unsure. "I can handle this on my own."
