CHAPTER 21

  Aubrey's POV

I stepped out from the sleek black limousine, my grandfather beside me, exuding confidence in his tailored suit. He gently grasped my hand, giving me a reassuring smile.

"You're an excellent child, Aubrey," he said, his voice warm and soothing.

I reciprocated his smile. "Thanks, Grandfather."

Together, we entered Carver's Corp's bustling headquarters. Employees bowed respectfully as we passed, their eyes filled with admiration.

Grandfather's presence commanded attention, his authority was palpable. I walked taller, my pride swelling.

We walked through the marble floored lobby, surrounded by towering pillars and sleek glass elevators. The Carver's Corp logo, engraved above, shone brightly.

As we approached the elevator, Grandfather's grip tightened.

"Today's a big day, Aubrey," he said, eyes twinkling.

I nodded, feeling a sense of determination "I'm ready, Grandfather."
