Dario's POV
I stood dejected, watching Aubrey's car exit the building. Sophia's face burned with anger as she stood beside me, her heart heaving.
"Let's go," Sophia spat, her high heels clicking against the pavement as she stomped toward her crimson red Ferrari.
I followed quietly, my mind reeling with Aubrey's cutting words, "used product?" The sting lingered.
Sophia had granted to me about how Aubrey had humiliated her in grandfather's suite when I arrived. I wonder what Sophia came for. She had never visited grandfather since he was hospitalized.
Sophia slammed her car door, the sound echoing through the hospital's parking garage. "You're just going to let her humiliate me?" Her voice dripped with venom.
I slid into the passenger seat, calmness masking my turmoil. "I'll handle Aubrey," I reassured, my deep voice steady.
Sophia's eyes flashed with anger. "You'd better."
