CHAPTER 63

  Aubrey's POV

With my shaking hands, I decided to put a call through to Dario. Could he have received the messages too or was it just me the person wants?

I dialed Dario's number. My heart raced and I waited for him to pick and he did almost immediately.

"He…lol," I stammered, my voice trembling.

"Aubrey?" Dario replied, his voice seemed to be calm.

"Can we meet?" I asked, my voice low. "It's urgent."

"Okay, Aubrey." He said. "Did you…" his voice trailed off.

  "What Dario, speak." I said.

"Did you also receive a strange message?" He asked, his voice low.

I let out a sigh. It wasn't just me after all.

  "Yes, I did." I replied.

"Okay, we will discuss it tomorrow morning. Meet me in my office." He said, hanging the call.

I slumped on the sofa. I could still hear my heartbeat. I lay in bed, but I knew I was never going to sleep.

The next morning, before I got dressed, Lucas showed up in my room, concern etched on his face.
