Dario's POV
The day I filed for divorce was a turning point in my life. The tension in the air was palpable as I sat across from Sophia and her family in the lawyer's office.
The room was cold and sterile, the kind of place where dreams went to die. Sophia's face was pale, her usual confidence shattered. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, sat stiffly beside her, their expressions a mix of anger and humiliation. They had no choice but to accept my terms to take down the trending videos of Sophia and drop any charges against their family for a divorce.
The scandal had already destroyed their reputation, and they couldn't afford to drag it out any longer.
"This is blackmail, Dario," Mr. Jones growled, his voice low and threatening. "You think you can just walk away from this unscathed?"
