Aubrey's POV
As I finished explaining everything to Henry, he looked at me with a mixture of concern and fear. "Aubrey, this is serious," he said, his voice low and serious. "If you're right, and your parents' death wasn't an accident...that means someone killed them?"
I nodded, feeling a shiver run down my spine. "I know. And I think grandfather is hiding something from me."
Henry's eyes narrowed. "What makes you think that?"
I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. Could I even trust Henry? His mother can't be trusted either. But something about Henry's expression made me trust him. "When I confronted him about what Aunt Rachel said, he just told me to drop it."
Henry's expression turned thoughtful. "You need to be careful. If grandfather says you should drop it then I really advise you to do. You know what grandfather is capable of."
