[Chapter 234: Heading Home]
By the time they returned to The Peninsula Hotel, it was already past one in the afternoon. Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis had just come back from their shopping spree, their arms full of bags that now cluttered the suite's living room.
Linton hadn't expected that they were still hungry and waiting for him to come back to have lunch together.
"Why don't you eat first?"
"We're waiting for you. You're leaving tomorrow, so we want to make the most of our time with you."
Linton thought to himself, 'Are these two people too submerged in the play?' But he felt touched all the same.
Instead of heading out to a restaurant, the three called room service to deliver several of the hotel's signature dishes.
While they waited for the food, Linton asked them what they had gotten during the morning.
Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis excitedly shared their finds -- mostly clothes and bags -- but promised a surprise when they tried them on after lunch.
...
After a simple lunch, the two women started trying on their new outfits for Linton.
To his surprise, the first set was incredibly sexy sleepwear.
Vivian Chow wore a red sheer silk nightgown, without anything underneath, paired with red stockings. With her exquisite figure, porcelain skin, pure and beautiful face, and faint dimples, she looked sweet yet seductive.
Her long, glossy black hair cascaded over her shoulders, adding softness and elegance. She walked to Linton with graceful poses, her subtle allure stirring feelings deep inside him.
Michelle Reis wore a black sheer silk nightgown, also without anything underneath, and black stockings that complemented her tall and sexy figure, fair delicate skin, and elegant, cool demeanor.
Her long, wavy black hair fell casually over her shoulders, making her look even more enchanting. She sauntered over to Linton from the other side with a sultry catwalk, a visual temptation so strong it was almost overwhelming.
Approaching Linton from both sides, the two women extended their hands silently, making a wordless invitation.
Where did these irresistible temptresses come from? Could he possibly resist?
Soon, a cheerful and sweet song began playing...
More surprises followed; Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis had learned Linton's preferences well.
That morning, they had bought several new outfits in styles he particularly liked: stewardess uniforms, teacher outfits, nurse uniforms...
Black stockings, red stockings...
...
During an interlude, Linton also made plans for the two women's upcoming projects.
Vivian Chow was focusing on her singing career. Her album released last year sold over 300,000 copies, ranking solidly in the top ten of Hong Kong's sales charts.
This year, she released three more albums, each performing well and winning major music awards across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
However, she was signed to Taiwan's Fame Records, under PolyGram Records Group, which made it impossible for Linton to help her break into the European and American markets for now.
Fortunately, her contract with Fame Records would expire next February. Linton suggested she sign with Universal Music's Hong Kong branch afterward to help her enter the Western music scene.
When hearing Linton's thoughtful plan, Vivian Chow surprised him with a more flirtatious image, saying, "Honey, you're so sweet. I want to reward you." She crawled downwards.
"Hiss, Michelle, you look amazing, with a tall figure, sharp features, noble and cool temperament, and exotic charm, and these qualities are very suitable for the big screen. I'll keep an eye out and let you know when a movie role fits you, but as promised, you need to start with supporting roles first."
"Honey, you're awesome; I'm gonna reward you good," Michelle teased, climbing on top of him.
Again, the sweet singing voice filled the room...
Sweet moments always passed too quickly, and morning came soon after.
---
After three days of passion, Linton absorbed and refined all the popularity energy from Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis, significantly improving his own abilities. It was truly a fruitful experience.
Nourished by Linton's essence for days, Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis glowed even brighter, their complexions radiant and spirits elevated.
Wanting to avoid unnecessary complications, Linton didn't see them off, bidding farewell to the two lovely companions reluctantly staying behind at the hotel.
The group of seven then headed to the airport aboard the hotel's fleet of Rolls-Royces.

On the way, Klinsmann sat with Linton and detailed the status of their film rights acquisitions.
They had purchased North American rights for 39 films, spending a total of $7.35 million.
Each film came with two sets of reels, sent by airmail yesterday afternoon. The company's distribution department was notified to pick them up, and they should have arrived in Los Angeles by now.
Regarding payment, the company had already completed half the payment across borders yesterday, with the balance due in three days.
"Very good, you did a good job this time. Once we get back, arrange for a translator to add English subtitles and prepare a promotion plan to push these films into the video rental market."
"Boss, I'm confident in the rental and sales prospects for these films. But considering cultural differences and that the actors are unfamiliar to American audiences, some targeted publicity is still necessary."
"What's your idea?"
"It doesn't need to be complicated. A few striking posters, some marketing spend on distribution channels, and buying ad space. For areas with large Chinese communities, we can boost publicity further."
"Sounds good. Let's go with your plan. Work hard and you'll get a bonus."
Linton was very pleased with Klinsmann's performance -- the rights were acquired at a price well below their initial expectations, so he promised a generous bonus.
"Boss, you really should've hit the nightclub with us last night to unwind. Hong Kong might be small, but its nightlife is vibrant and colorful."
"There's this place called Lan Kwai Fong, packed with beautiful, outgoing women. It was unforgettable." After the business talk, Klinsmann started boasting about his clubbing conquests.
"Keep working hard. If you keep it up, you'll charm beauties in nightclubs worldwide."
Linton didn't want to hear more boasting but used it to paint a bigger dream for Klinsmann.
In reality, this was Klinsmann's first trip scouting as purchasing manager of their North American distribution company, following the big boss.
When he's fully in charge, many foreign studios and producers will treat him like royalty.
Instead of nightclub girls, stars will be attending to him.

At the airport, they met up with 15 members of Yuan Woo-ping's martial arts team and flew back to Los Angeles.
The journey was uneventful, just as Linton had expected.
Though Hong Kong's gangs were rampant and ruthless, they feared the law and those who stood against them. They had no guts to confront foreigners.
The gang behind the killing of four men was called 13K. They were horrified by the brutal method of killing and further terrified after learning the four men were slain simultaneously, without time to resist.
They had originally planned to harass taxi passengers but abandoned the idea upon learning the victims were two Americans.
Little did they know, their cowardice likely saved hundreds of lives in their gang. Had they dared cause trouble at the Peninsula Hotel or hinder Linton's journey to the airport, Linton wouldn't have hesitated to strike back fiercely, even if it meant delaying his flight.
But killing a few gang members was hardly an inconvenience. At most, he'd just change his ticket from morning to afternoon.
