A Ruber couldn't reach the werewolf territory and her car was seized by the pack so she could only walk in her state' she hoped get a lift from any car that passed by but she soon realised that was very dangerous. She dropped the idea and continued walking, her destination? Human civilisation. It's not that she wanted to leave werewolf civilisation, it's just that she didn't want to live the life of a rogue there and other packs might not accept her because the Luna pack had many enemies to say the least and that might put her in danger.
The humans didn't have this much drama and her deceased parents owned some property there so it was the best option at the moment for her. She would give birth to the child and raise it there, things would have been easier if she just got rid of it but it went against her moral code as stupid as it sounded. Being three months pregnant already, all the walking was already taking a heavy toll on her body. She doesn't know how far she had walked and she felt the GPS wasn't working so she decided to rest.
She was currently on a forest road and there wasn't an inn or any kind of lodging for miles so she decided to just wing it and sleep in the forest, she was used to it as she normally camped in the forest during patrols. As she was about to step in, she felt herself unconsciously tremble, her body rejecting the idea of even stepping foot there. It wasn't instinct but a trauma that had been bothering her for three months now. she bit her cheek and took in a deep breath before forcing herself to head into the forest.
"Your'e on your own now Harley, no one could be this far out. There's no Jessica plotting against you here' Just relax and find shelter for the night", she continued this mantra as she dragged her suitcase through a crude path. She scanned her surroundings trying to see if she'd see any suitable place to rest for the night, a lot of smaller animals or predators avoided her because of the powerful aura that emitted from her. She didn't want to get into any scuffles or problems, she just wanted a peaceful night and to be gone by morning.
After a while of walking and just before dusk, she found a small cave by a crystal clear stream. The sun set made the place look ethereal and tranquil, she couldn't stop herself from taking a picture as she didn't expect to see such a beautiful sight on a shitty day like this. She got to work before the sun set fully making a bed out of leaves and a fire to roast the fish she had caught and to stay warm as well. She took a bath in the stream and sat before the fire while humming, the night going peacefully for her.
Elsewhere in the same forest, a large grey wolf who seemed to be heavily injured was being chased down by at least a dozen of slightly smaller wolves who seemed relentless on catching up. The wolf not planning on getting caught made unpredictable and disorderly maneuvers between trees an boulders making it almost impossible for the attackers to get any closer than they already were, his good luck would soon end though as he approached a cliff with a river right at the bottom. He didn't really have time to think and could only choose between either fighting the attackers off fighting the attackers off or taking the jump. Both options weren't too promising, he was too badly injured to fight and the jagged rocks at the bottom of the cliff didn't seem soft at all but he knew he had to make a choice. Just before he was cornered at the edge, he jumped off without a second thought.
his attackers barely slowed down their speed as they watched him fall into the river, after not seeing him surface for a while they turned around and left. Moments later, a handsome man with grey hair, and torn clothing surfaced up from the water. He was barely conscious as he floated down the river.
Harley had gotten up early that morning, she washed her face, brushed her teeth and had a bath. She put on some joggers and a hoodie as she prepared to start her journey again. As she was making some roasted fish to eat on the way she could hear a disturbance coming from nearby, vultures circled an area not to far from where she was. She became tense as some recent fears surfaced in her head but she quickly shook it off. She decided to pack up and leave as quickly as possible, whatever was going on there wasn't her business and she didn't plan on involving herself anytime soon.
As she finished packing up the fish she could hear hostile growls coming from over there. She was still intending on minding her own business but curiousity got the best of her... Like hell! She forced herself to walk away and continue on her journey drama free.
Just as she was reaching the road, something that resembled a bat and a cat mixed together swooped down on her and took purse she had slung across her chest right off her. Before she could react the creature was already far ahead, she wasn't expecting something like this. Normally she would have just giving up the item but this purse contained most of her valuables like debit cards, her phone and some other important items. She couldn't let it go at all.
All of a sudden she felt like eating bat-cat meat, she picked up her luggage and strapped it to her back before transforming into a wolf with chestnut brown hair and onyx eyes. In this form her speed was almost unrivaled as she chased after the creature. The creature fearing for its life flapped it's wings harder in order to get away as it felt it was in imminent danger.
Just as Harley was about to reach the creature, it suddenly dropped her purse somewhere in the forest. She was confused but quickly ran towards the spot she was sure it had fallen, she soon reached a clearing and slowed down at the scene before her. It was a very(x5) handsome man with grey hair and crystal blue eyes that resembled actual gems.
His looks aside, his current situation didn't look too promising as he was currently surrounded by wild predators that tried to bite at his greatly injured form. The man looked too weak to actually defend himself so he could only waved a large tree branch to keep the predators at bay. He was in tattered clothing and had his back against a large boulder, he looked like he couldn't keep up for much longer.
Harley wasn't a saint and didn't feel obligated to help this man but what concerned her the most was that this man currently held her purse of treasures!(Overstatement).
The man smiled at her weakly as he held up the pink purse in his left hand, "I believe this is yours... My savior".
