Chapter 1: Systems

Systems are panels filled with information about you, like a menu in video games. Systems aren't unique, everyone has one. The difference between the upper echelon of society and the rest, the ones who are forced to work all day everyday, is simple. It's your class. Your class decides your future, get a rare, completely overpowered class, and your future as an idol or hero is decided, get anything else, enjoy your office job!

That is my system interface, also known as status. My class is definitely unique, most classes focus on combat or lifestyle. My class seems… honestly useless in combat, but hey, don't judge a book by its cover, right? Anyways, about me.

I came from a standard family, I have no siblings, I went to school, lived in a typical 2 story house, lived in a neighborhood, hung out with friends, and did other things people around my age would do.

Standard life. Well, until this summer, when I turned 18 and got my class. Since my class isn't combat centered, nor does it seem to have a way to earn money, it was dubbed the most useless class, possibly ever.

Even though it seemed like my future was one of endless toiling, I still hung onto a hope: I don't know exactly how my class works.

My parents were still optimistic for me, since it was unclear how my class functions, I could be a lucky one, with a secret overpowered skill.

I decided to try out my skills, so I went up to my room, laid down on my back, and thought about my skill {Sky Ocean}.
