Having decided on his strategy against the Southern Coalition Army, Luoshu began plotting an even grander scheme—
The Mysticism Reformation Plan!
Yes, he intended to reshape this world into a mysticism-dominated civilization, divorced from modern technology.
There were several reasons for this:
1. The Inherent Conflict Between Science and Faith
Advanced technology naturally clashes with the charlatan's deception.
The saying "The end of science is theology" only resonates with top-tier scientists who've hit dead ends—ordinary people see science and religion as mutually exclusive.
When humanity reaches space, atheists wield the ultimate rebuttal:
"We've been to space—where's God? Where's Heaven?"
But with the rise of quantum physics, theories like string theory and multiverse hypotheses have paradoxically reopened the door for divine existence.
Parallel universes? Higher dimensions? These could very well be the domains of gods.
But for Luoshu, rebuilding quantum physics in this post-apocalyptic world would take decades, if not centuries—especially since most strategic resources for technological advancement were irreversibly contaminated by radiation.
So why not take a different path?
2. The Threat of Firearms
Guns are bad for cult leaders.
Even in his controlled territory, there were still hardcore materialists and fanatics of other religions—people who hated him.
Most had either been suppressed by his followers or executed by zealots. But as his domain expanded, underground resistance would inevitably form.
And when opposition goes underground, guns become the perfect assassination tool.
Imagine the irony of being shot by an atheist after all this effort.
Thus, Luoshu's first step was:
Gun Control!
Only zealots (those blessed by him) could possess firearms.
Everyone else? Disarmed.
If not for the looming threat of the Southern Coalition Army, he'd have regressed all firearms into useless relics.
Ultimate goal? Eradicate guns entirely once he unified the world.
3. The Path of a Reality Bender
Now that he was a reality bender, Luoshu had godlike potential.
Here, he took inspiration from "The God."
"The God" could modify and bestow reality-bending abilities—seen in SCP-053 (The Young Girl) and SCP-CN-722 (The Child Laborers).
SCP-053's innate ability was a "brat aura"—but her invulnerability and damage reflection were gifts from "The God."
Luoshu theorized that "The God" had used temporal manipulation to lock her body at age 3, making her immune to harm.
If "The God" could do it, so could he.
The Experiment: Creating Divine Apostles
Luoshu gathered loyal zealots for human trials, aiming to create "Divine Apostles"—empowered agents to spread his faith and govern the world.
Test Groups:
"Divine Blood" Injection – Directly transfused his blood into subjects.
"Divine Blood" Consumption – Subjects drank small amounts of his blood.
"Baptism" – Used Evolutionary Warping to alter their physiology.
First Round: Failure
Group 1 suffered hemolytic reactions (blood type incompatibility).
Groups 2 and 3 showed no changes.
Thankfully, "holy water" prevented fatalities.
Second Round: Breakthrough
Combined methods: Injection + Baptism or Consumption + Baptism.
Result: Some subjects became Level 1 reality benders!
But Level 1 was too weak—barely stronger than ordinary humans. He needed Level 2 apostles to execute his plan.
The Limitation: Power Scaling
Increasing their strength required raising their Hume levels—which depended on his own strength.
"The God" was a Level 5 reality bender (suppressing his power to Level 3-4).
Luoshu could temporarily boost himself using Reverse Warping and Reality Theft, but...
The Math Didn't Work:
Level 4 median Hume: ~500
Level 5 median Hume: ~900
To reach 900, he'd need to drain ~40,000 ordinary people dry—impossible without mass genocide.
Conclusion?
He couldn't mimic "The God" yet.
Weakness was his original sin.
Next Step?
If brute-force empowerment failed, he'd need a smarter approach—perhaps rituals, symbolic contracts, or indirect reality infusion.
But for now, the Mysticism Reformation would proceed one zealot at a time.
