Group Escape

Luo Shu was no stranger to infiltrating Foundation sites—coming and going had become routine.

But leading a group of contained humanoid anomalies to escape? That was a first.

Aiolos wasn't a concern—his Reverse Distortion let him move freely.

But Jianjia and the two Insurgency members were hard to hide.

So Luo Shu turned to the Logistics Captain.

"Can you shrink three people at once? I'll carry you in my pocket."

The Logistics Captain gave him a look reserved for the intellectually challenged.

"Let's ignore whether you're strong enough to drag three people. Do you think living humans are frozen meat? You can't compress molecular spacing and expect them to survive!"

...Okay, my bad.

Luo Shu admitted he'd been misled by Marvel's pseudo-science. Shrinking people like Ant-Man was biologically impossible.

Life was the most precise yet fragile structure in existence.

Cells couldn't withstand volume scaling—just like stars.

main-sequence star (like the Sun) expands into a red giant, but shrinking it doesn't revert it—it collapses into a white dwarf.

Similarly, living beings subjected to scaling would die instantly.

Since the Logistics Captain's ability was useless on humans, Luo Shu had to improvise.

He settled on the oldest trick in the book:

Feints, diversions, and misdirection.

The Plan

Guided by Athena, the group avoided patrols, ascending toward the exit.

The Euclid containment zone had no impassable checkpoints—but the exit was guarded 24/7 by Achilles' Heel.

Only one scenario would empty that post…

Near the exit, Luo Shu led the team into an abandoned containment unit.

Its former occupant was either dead or dissected—no one would come looking.

Once hidden, Luo Shu addressed the surveillance camera:

"Athena, execute."

"Understood, my Lord."

piercing alarm blared through Area-13:

"ALERT! CONTAINMENT BREACH! Units for 'Hetu,' 'Ruin/Enlightenment,' 'The World is Dying,' 'Stalker,' 'Mind Lab,' and 'My Name is Zaizai Peak' have been unlawfully opened!"

Athena had unlocked six high-risk units, releasing a wave of dangerous reality benders.

Chaos erupted.

Site Director Omega-12-C-001's voice boomed over the PA:

"All Omega-12 personnel, assemble on Sublevel-1! Guards, hold your positions! Non-combatants, lockdown immediately—unauthorized movement will be met with termination!"

"To the breached anomalies: Stay in your units. If I catch anyone outside, I'll handle you personally!"

Soon, footsteps pounded past their door as MTF squads rushed to Sublevel-4.

Though Luo Shu couldn't see outside, Athena relayed everything in real-time.

Achilles' Heel's current roster numbered around 100.

Excluding non-combatants, six strike teams were now diverted to Sublevel-4—including Barbie herself.

That left only 30 personnel on Sublevel-1, mostly support staff.

But escape was still impossible—the two Tier-5 commanders (Omega-12-C-001 and 002) remained.

So Luo Shu escalated.

Athena triggered a second wave of alarms:

"ALERT! CONTAINMENT BREACH! Units for 'Liao O Yi,' 'Still Diligent Feng Feng Ya,' 'A 049,' 'Spacetime God Sherlock,' 'Knock Harder,' and 'Minion' have been unlawfully opened!"

With this, nearly all outsider reality benders were loose—surpassing even Mind Lab's previous breach.

The two Insurgency members stared at Luo Shu in awe.

Bro, you're insane. The Chaos Insurgency bows to you.

To compound the chaos, Athena sealed Sublevel-4's exits, trapping the first six strike teams below while forcing the director to dispatch more teams to Sublevel-3.

Now, Sublevel-1 had fewer than 30 personnel—mostly non-combatants.

But Athena warned:

"My Lord, Omega-12-C-001 and 002 are still stationed here!"

As long as these two Tier-5 powerhouses stayed, escape was impossible.

So Luo Shu upped the ante.

"Light the final fuse. Announce that all containment units have been opened."

Aiolos paled. "That's too risky! Most SCP-3480-2 instances are loyal to the Foundation. Releasing them won't help us—they might even help suppress the outsiders!"

Luo Shu smirked. "True—but the Foundation's leadership trusts no one. I'm not actually freeing them—just pretending to."

"Pretending?" Aiolos didn't follow.

"Exactly. A fake breach, a fake rebellion. Guess how the Foundation will react?"
