Thunder God "Zeus"

Guided by Aiolos, Luo Shu's group swiftly ascended the steep, winding mountain path.

The narrow trail was a natural cave formation, flanked by an icy stream fed by melting snow. This underground river had been repurposed by Area-13 as an access route.

The terrain was impassable by vehicle—even if cars could function here, which they couldn't. The abnormally low Hume levels near Mytikas Peak disrupted most technology. Otherwise, Achilles' Heel could've simply sent helicopters to cut them off.

After hours of trekking, they emerged from the subterranean river into daylight—now above the snow line. Below them, thick clouds blanketed the land, forming an endless sea of mist where Aegean moisture condensed.

A few hundred meters ahead lay the core zone of SCP-3480.

Luo Shu could feel it—like a colossal cosmic sieve, draining reality from the world. The resulting Hume vacuum gave the peak an ethereal, dreamlike quality. The Foundation compensated by pumping in reality from surrounding areas via Scranton Reality Anchors (SRAs).

When the "sieve" accumulated enough reality, it triggered a White Event, birthing new reality benders.

Some researchers theorized alien bioweapon tech might be buried here, designed to manufacture superhumans.

As they pressed forward, Achilles' Heel's triumvirate and "The Mastermind" closed in behind them.

Spotting Luo Shu, Barbie shouted: "Surrender! There's nowhere left to run!"

Luo Shu ignored her.

But the Logistics Captain responded—by grabbing a handful of snow, molding it, and placing it on the ground.

Volume Scaling.

gigantic snow hand erupted upward, its middle finger jutting defiantly at Barbie.

"Keh keh keh!" The Logistics Captain cackled like a Hong Kong comic villain.

IR1705 sidestepped, muttering, "I don't know this lunatic."

The taunt sent Barbie into a rage. The space around her pixelated violently, nearly harming her teammates.

Omega-12-C-001 intervened: "Stand down, Barbie! You can't ascend to Tier-5 yet. I'll handle this."

Achilles' Heel needed a Tier-4 leader for field operations—hence Barbie's restraint.

As she struggled to calm down, Omega-12-C-001 activated his ability.

Instantly, the sky darkened. Ominous clouds swirled overhead.

Luo Shu's hair stood on end—literally.

Static charged the air. Every movement produced crackling sparks.

Aiolos froze, face pale. "Lord Zeus' power... Thunder God. Tier-5."

Omega-12-C-001—codenamed "Zeus"—also bore the designation SCP-3480-2-19.

He held the record for longest White Event duration480 hours and 3 minutes.

The first Tier-5 reality bender birthed by SCP-3480, he had annihilated MTF Omega-11 single-handedly.

The Foundation's official claim that "Omega-11 was disbanded" was another 6/2000-clearance lie.

Documents also falsely stated that "Lazarus-01 Protocol" subdued Zeus.

Another deception.

In Christian tradition, Lazarus was the resurrected. Thus, "Lazarus-01" secretly referred to cloned reality benders—a program spearheaded by "The Administrator" to manufacture loyal supersoldiers, not contain them.

After Zeus' creation, he became the linchpin of MTF Omega-12 (Achilles' Heel)—the Foundation's most powerful reality-bender task force.

Now, Luo Shu faced SCP-3480's strongest product.

But Zeus was too powerful for Earth's stability. Confined to Mount Olympus under dual SRAs, his abilities were capped at Tier-3.

Otherwise, Mytikas Peak would've ionized into subatomic particles.

Yet even at Tier-3, his lightning storms were lethal.

Above Luo Shu, serpentine bolts of electricity writhed through the clouds. Deafening thunder rolled continuously as charge built toward critical mass.

A single lightning strike carried 1 billion volts10 million kilowatts instantaneously, matching a small nuclear plant's daily output.

On the barren peak, Luo Shu's group were walking lightning rods.

And this storm wouldn't stop at one or two strikes—it would unleash hundreds.

No escape.

Meanwhile, Zeus encased his team in an ionized shield, safely observing Luo Shu's impending electrocution.
