"Father, I heard that the Spirit Hall invited nearly every prominent figure across the continent. This wedding is bound to draw the elite from all corners. I'd love to witness the young heroes of this generation and maybe even test my skills against them."
Tang Hao and Tang Xiao were both still quite young. The disciples of the Clear Sky Clan had accompanied them this time, led by Tang Tian himself.
As for Tang Chen, he had gone off on his own shortly after arriving in Spirit City, saying he wanted to catch up with an old friend.
Tang Hao was visibly excited. He had long wanted to cross paths with the great talents of the world, but never had the chance. With the grand wedding of the Supreme Pontiff taking place, a gathering of heroes was inevitable—and so too were the duels.
"Hao, this is a royal wedding. Don't stir up trouble."
Unlike the hot-blooded Tang Hao, his older brother Tang Xiao—fifteen years his senior—was far more composed and mature.
At thirty-six, Tang Xiao was already a Soul Sage, recognized by the clan and granted a soul bone of inheritance, making him a formidable force.
Both brothers were born with innate Soul Power of rank 9, true prodigies of their generation. Given their youth and cultivation levels, it was no wonder they were known as the Twin Stars of the Clear Sky Clan.
"Haha, big brother, don't tell me you don't want to challenge the best of the best yourself?"
"Of course I do," Tang Xiao replied with a faint smile. "But I'm not exactly part of the younger generation anymore. If any duels take place, the honor of our younger Clear Sky Clan members will rest with you, Hao."
He gave his younger brother a firm pat on the shoulder.
"Big Brother, Second Brother, over here!"
Tang Yuehua called out to them from a nearby street stall, waving enthusiastically.
The two brothers exchanged a glance before heading over. Their curious eyes landed on the stall, which was filled with handmade animal figurines.
"What is it? Just a bunch of toys," Tang Hao scoffed with disinterest, clearly not understanding his little sister's thoughts.
"Big Brother Hao, seriously… Don't you think these little animals are adorable?" Tang Yuehua rolled her eyes at him and picked up a small white bunny plush, her eyes sparkling with delight as she studied it.
"We'll take this bunny," said Tang Xiao with a smile. Seeing his sister's joy, he didn't even bother asking the price, placing a gold soul coin on the vendor's table.
"No need to return the change."
"Would you gentlemen like anything else?" the vendor asked politely.
"No, that'll be all."
"All right, safe travels, honored guests!"
The street vendor beamed. This was the outer area of Spirit City, still some distance from the central district. Not everyone here was a Soul Master—many were ordinary citizens or came from nearby villages. Most relied on their crafts or services to make a living in the city.
"Thank you, Big Brother!" Tang Yuehua said cheerfully. She was clearly overjoyed with her new rabbit plush.
From a distance, Tang Tian watched his three children happily interacting. A warm smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
What he saw in them was the future of the Clear Sky Clan. With Tang Xiao and Tang Hao leading the way, even if Yuehua was unable to break past the tenth rank, she would still have a place within the clan.
Tang Tian's thoughts drifted to the future. After all, neither he nor his father were immortal. One day, their time would end, and it would fall to the next generation to carry the torch.
His sons were both rare geniuses—especially Hao, whose potential was no less than that of Tang Chen himself.
Only Yuehua remained his greatest concern. Although she too had innate soul power of rank 9, a mutation in her martial soul had left her unable to cultivate. It was a cruel fate.
But each time he saw his children getting along so well, that heavy worry in his heart would ease just a little.

With the Clear Sky Clan in attendance, the other great sects were naturally present as well.
Ning Fengzhi arrived with Chen Xin and several sect disciples, while Bone Douluo remained behind to guard the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.
The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan was personally led by Yu Yuanzhen, accompanied by Yu Luomian.
Among them was also Yu Xiaogang, but he was noticeably alienated by the younger disciples. No one wanted to stand near him.
Yu Xiaogang seemed unbothered by the rejection—or perhaps he had simply grown used to it.
It wasn't just the younger generation that looked down on Yu Xiaogang; even the elders in the sect were displeased with him.
In their eyes, it was his presence that had led to the current state of the younger generation. Despite boasting innate Soul Power of rank 8, the strongest among them was only a Rank 41 Soul Ancestor at twenty-four years old.
Much of the clan's cultivation resources had been diverted for Yu Xiaogang's sake, all to save face for the clan leader.
Even if they held resentment, there was little they could do. He was, after all, the clan leader's son—and the son of a Titled Douluo.
Seeing the strained atmosphere, Yu Yuanzhen sighed and moved slightly closer to Xiaogang to make him feel less excluded.
He was well aware of the criticism his son faced within the clan.
But at the end of the day, this was still his child. How could he bear to watch his son waste away in mediocrity?
Now that the others had begun to ostracize Yu Xiaogang completely, Yu Yuanzhen couldn't help but worry. When he eventually passed away, what would become of his son?
If his son was going to bear the brunt of the clan's scorn, so be it. As long as Yu Yuanzhen was still alive, he would ensure Xiaogang reached the highest level of power he was capable of. That way, even if he were expelled from the clan in the future, at least he'd have the strength to survive quietly somewhere, even if it was just in a small town.
As for the future of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan—so what if they lost a generation of geniuses? As long as Yu Yuanzhen lived, he would hold the line.

"It's so lively... I wonder what Brother Gu is up to right now?"
Dugu Xin, walking beside his father Dugu Bo, looked around at the bustling streets and couldn't help but mutter, thinking of the young man who had once promised to help them solve the flaws in their martial souls.
"That brat's probably inside Spirit Hall already. Forget about that for now. Come, Xin'er, let's head over to Spirit Hall."
Dugu Bo was a solitary figure by nature and wasn't one to enjoy crowds. If it weren't for the favor they owed both the Holy Maiden of Spirit Hall and Gu Han, he wouldn't have come—even if they had sent an invitation.
"All right."
Dugu Xin nodded and followed his father toward the Spirit Hall headquarters.
At this moment, Spirit City was truly a gathering of heroes, a convergence of the continent's greatest talents. Nearly every influential figure from across the land was present.
The Seven Great Sects, the Two Great Empires, the Upper Three Sects and the Lower Four Sects had all arrived in grand fashion—with Soul Sage-level experts as the bare minimum.
Even the top Advanced Spirit Master Academies had sent teachers of Soul Sage rank.
The level of pomp and circumstance surpassed even the coronation of the Star Luo Empire's former emperor.
What else could be said?
Spirit Hall was still Spirit Hall.
As the most powerful force on the continent, the only sect that could rival them was the Clear Sky Clan, which now boasted Limit Douluo in its ranks.
While the older generation busied themselves with power plays and diplomacy, the younger crowd was far more playful and curious, wandering the city streets with eager eyes.
And as for Bibi Dong—her plan ultimately failed. Just as she was sneaking into the bride's dressing chamber, she was caught red-handed by Qian Xunji. He grabbed her by the collar and dragged her away like a misbehaving child.
And why was Qian Xunji there?
Simple—he had come to sneak a peek too. But he'd been stopped at the door by Golden Crocodile Douluo, who stood outside like a living statue.
With no way in, Qian Xunji had turned to leave—only to stumble upon the sneaky Bibi Dong.
