Chapter 26: The Birth of the Solar Guardian & Flight

---

In the magical world of Terazone, deep within the outskirts of the capital, a certain overexcited teenager was preparing to unveil his masterpiece.

Ryo stood in an open training field, staring at the two tiny figures walking toward him. His best friend Leon and his girlfriend Mia had finally arrived.

Leon stretched his arms, yawning dramatically. "This better be important, dude. I was in the middle of something."

Mia raised an eyebrow. "Liar. You were just napping in the training hall."

Leon winced. "And it was very important to me."

Ryo chuckled. "Well, wake up, sleepyhead, because I have a present for you."

Mia's eyes lit up. "For both of us?"

"Of course," Ryo said, puffing out his chest. "I spent countless sleepless nights working on this."

Leon stared at him blankly. "Didn't you just start working on it two days ago?"

Ryo coughed. "Irrelevant."

Leon smirked. "Right. I bet you just slapped some metal parts together, added some magic circles, and called it a day."

Ryo ignored him. Instead, he reached into his bag and pulled out something that looked like a gun—but sleeker, shinier, and glowing with energy.

Leon squinted. "What… is that?"

Ryo grinned. "This, my dear skeptical friend, is an arrow gun. Unlike your slow, old-school bow, this bad boy fires twenty-four arrows like figures per second."

Leon's mouth dropped open. "You're lying."

Ryo spun the gun around dramatically, posing like an action hero. "Oh, but I'm not."

Leon snatched it from his hands and examined it. "Wait… you actually made this?"

Ryo smirked. "Who else would be brilliant enough to create a magic-tech fusion weapon?"

Leon blinked. "Well—"

"No one. That's who," Ryo interrupted before Leon could answer.

Mia crossed her arms. "Okay, okay, enough of your ego trip. Where's my gift?"

Ryo turned to her with a confident grin and pulled out a sleek pair of gloves.

"These," he said, holding them up dramatically, "are Solar Guardian Gloves."

Mia raised an eyebrow. "And… what do they do?"

Ryo placed them in her hands. "They don't need magic stones. They're powered by the sun. Just place your hands on the ground, and it will use neuro-hydraulic fiber wiring to shape the earth into a golem."

Mia stared at him.

Leon stared at him.

"…What?"

Mia blinked. "You lost me at 'neuro-whatever.'"

Leon nodded. "Yeah, man, you gotta dumb it down for us."

Ryo sighed dramatically. "Fine. You put the gloves on. You touch the ground. The ground moves. A giant stone dude that is powered by the sun appears. You control him. Simple."

Mia's eyes widened in excitement. "Ohhh! Now that sounds awesome!"

She hurriedly slipped on the gloves and placed her hands on the ground.

A bright golden glow surrounded them as thin threads of energy shot into the soil. Within seconds, the earth rumbled as massive slabs of stone shifted and molded together.

Then, with a thunderous roar, a giant gorilla-like golem emerged from the ground.

Mia gasped in awe. "OH. MY. GODS."

Leon stepped back. "Holy crap, it's HUGE."

The Solar Guardian stood four meters tall, its rocky arms crackling with solar energy.

Mia tried moving her hands… and the golem copied her exact movements.

She lifted her arms. The golem raised its fists.

She clenched her fists. The golem pounded its chest like a king of the jungle.

Leon laughed. "Mia, you made a rock monkey!"

Mia beamed. "I LOVE IT!"

Leon turned back to his arrow gun and aimed at a nearby boulder. "Let's see if this thing actually works…"

He pulled the trigger.

TATATATATATA!

A barrage of energy bullets fired instantly, ripping through the boulder like paper.

Leon's jaw dropped.

"DUDE! THIS IS INSANE!"

Ryo smirked. "Told you."

Leon clutched the gun like a precious treasure. "I take back every insult I've ever said about you."

Ryo grinned. "That's what I thought."

Mia, meanwhile, was making the golem dance.

Leon pointed at her. "Mia, what are you doing?"

Mia giggled. "What? I'm making my golem do the moonwalk."

The massive stone creature slid across the ground smoothly, arms flailing like a disco dancer.

Ryo facepalmed. "I made a military-grade magic-technology hybrid combat golem… and you're making it dance."

Mia winked. "Gotta test all functions, right?"

Leon fired another round from his gun and whistled. "Man, this thing's a game-changer."

Ryo stretched his arms. "Well, you guys can thank me later. I have something else to do."

Leon and Mia glanced at each other.

"What could possibly be more important than this?" Leon asked.

Ryo grinned. "Testing my newly upgraded exoskeleton suit."

Mia raised an eyebrow. "You mean that crazy flying metal suit of yours?"

"Exactly."

Leon scratched his head. "Didn't your last test flight almost kill you?"

Ryo scoffed. "That was just a minor design flaw."

Mia narrowed her eyes. "You crashed into a library ceiling , you got struck by lightning."

Leon nodded. "And then into a fountain."

"And then a tree," Mia added.

Ryo waved dismissively. "Okay, three minor design flaws. But I fixed them!"

Leon and Mia sighed. "We wish we could see it but we have a meeting ."

"What meeting?" Ryo inquired

"You would have known If you had joined the princess faction"Leon said teasing ryo.

" Don't mind him you can join us if you want" Mia said with a cute smile .

"Thanks but I've got some flight test to take"

"Okay, hope you don't die"Leon said as they both left.

Ryo stepped away and activated his exoskeleton suit using his magic energy signature.

WHIRRRRRR!

Metal plates snapped into place, forming a sleek, upgraded version of his combat suit.

The HUD (Heads-Up Display) flickered to life.

"Systems online. Power levels stable."

Ryo grinned. "Alright… let's see what this baby can do."

With a blast of energy, he launched into the air.

"YEEEEHOOOOO!"

He spiraled through the clouds, performing aerial stunts like an overexcited child in a theme park ride.

"THIS. IS. AWESOME!" Ryo said as he kept on doing his stunts in the sky.

"I wonder if the attack system works "then his hand turned into a Canon and fired a massive shot which gave a massive damage to the training room.

"Oops , I guess I have to find somewhere else to test my tech suit"

"System show me the directions of the forest of beast"

The suit showed him a map leading to the forest of beast which he flew to.
