Meeting Ms. Chaeyoon

I hadn't expected such an inconspicuous house to be booby-trapped.

But I didn't have another choice, I had to go inside, no matter what.

So I braced myself for any other traps I might face.

I put a foot inside the gate, carefully scanning my surroundings, checking to see whether there were any more traps.

Luckily, there weren't any.

I slowly approached the door and rang the doorbell. I heard no response, then suddenly, someone with a gun opened the door.

They pointed the gun at me. I was terrified, but I didn't back down. I told her that the village chief had sent us here.

He said, "Go to her, she might be the only one who can help you."

She finally calmed down when she saw Mr. Park, it seemed that they knew each other.

She lowered the gun from my head and invited us inside her house.

We all quietly entered. She told us to sit down and asked what kind of help we needed.

Mr. Park then told her the whole story, from the beginning to what had happened yesterday.

She then introduced herself. She said her name was Chaeyoon.

She said she wanted to take a look at Suhee, so she took us to the basement, where she had her laboratory. She hooked Suhee up to a machine to measure her power. The machine then took her blood.

Ms.Chaeyoon explained that people who were experimented upon had been given injections containing genes from a higher rece, they changed our cell structure to accomodate ether from outside which we couldn't sense before.

It was another form of energy we didn't know existed, all because we were born inferior to other creatures, ether is an alternate form of energy, it's magical while not being magic, scientists discovered ancient texts containing evidence about extinct races that were akin to gods.
