Tough times - (1)

Little by little, we regained control over our powers, not completely, not like before, but enough to defend ourselves.

This training proved that tough times were coming.

The training got tougher as time went on. Mr. Park began coaching us on basic fighting skills and teaching us how to better use our powers.

He knew better than us how to use our powers, even though he didn't have any.

This just goes to show how dedicated he was to his research.

Then, Mr. Park suddenly gave us a day off, this had never happened before. Never.

It was surprising, to say the least. Mr. Park wasn't there with us that day; Ms. Chaeyoon told us he went out to do some work.

The village chief was recovering little by little. Suhee had been gaining better control over her power, due to her efforts and dedication she was able to conjure some ether with which she was able to heal some of the village chief's wounds.

He woke up from his coma but still isn't able to talk.

A few more weeks passed. It felt like something was coming, although I couldn't explain what, but I knew something was coming.

Before something bad happens, I get this inexplicable feeling... this reminder to always be careful.

I was curious as to what my powers were. The only actual time I used my power was when I almost killed my family, when I let my emotions run rampant.

I went to ask Mr. Park about this, and he told me that I'd have to check for myself.

These powers that were implanted in us were empty vessels, our wishes and our desires decoded what kind of power we would get.

Suhee got her healing power because she never wanted to see anyone she loved get hurt.

To be continued...
