The Chase
Tunde gripped the wheel, sweat dripping down his face as his car roared through the ruined city streets. The speedometer was well past its limit, but he didn't care—he had to outrun the nightmare behind him.
Behind him, the Autobot Titan thundered forward, its massive metal feet cracking the asphalt with each step. It wasn't running—it didn't have to. One step alone covered what his car did in five seconds.
Suddenly, a metallic voice boomed across the ruins:
Titan Protocol Initiated. Target Identified: Human Resistance. Neutralization Required.
The Titan's red optics flashed. Then, with two colossal strides, it swung a massive steel arm like a battering ram.
Tunde barely had time to curse before—
CRASH!
The force sent his car flipping into the air like a discarded toy.
Tunde Awakens
The world spun. Darkness. Muffled sounds.
Then—barking. Loud, desperate.
Tunde groaned, his vision hazy. His dog, Max, barked furiously beside him, its body low, growling at something huge.
His vision adjusted—the Titan loomed over them. It was even worse up close—its jagged metal body pulsed with eerie blue light, and its armored arms could tear through concrete like butter.
Tunde froze. This was it.
But then—
"VOIDREAPER. REPORT BACK TO BASE."
The Titan stopped mid-step. Its red optics flickered as if receiving a command. Then, without hesitation, it turned away.
Above, a massive aerial war machine hovered in the sky. The unmistakable silhouette of OMEGA-ENGINE, the Supreme Titan Overlord, stared down from above.
Beside him, another Titan stood—this one even more terrifying.
VOIDREAPER.
Unlike other Titans, VOIDREAPER's body shifted constantly, morphing between weapons, blades, and spiked armor. A living war machine.
The two Titans exchanged unreadable signals. Then, in unison, they vanished into the ruined city's shadows, leaving only destruction behind.
Tunde didn't wait to question why. He grabbed Max and ran.
The Subway Hideout – Meeting the Survivors
Tunde ducked into a collapsed underground tunnel, Max right beside him. The city above was a graveyard—flaming vehicles, destroyed buildings, and bodies scattered in the streets.
He moved quickly, following the dim emergency lights deeper into the subway station.
Then—a gun clicked.
"Drop the bag. Hands where I can see 'em."
Tunde froze.
From the shadows, a group of survivors emerged, weapons drawn. Their leader, a grizzled man in a torn military vest, stepped forward. His name was Captain Darius.
Darius: "Thought you were one of 'em."
Tunde: "If I was, would I be running for my life?"
Darius: nods "Fair point."
Darius lowered his gun. A woman named Sarah—a former engineer—spoke up.
Sarah: "We saw what happened. You're lucky. Titans don't usually let people live."
Tunde: "That wasn't luck. They got called back. Something's happening."
Darius: grimly "Yeah. It's called the end of the world."
Tunde looked around. There were maybe a dozen survivors, all tired, dirty, and desperate.
Darius: "We can't stay here. Titans are sweeping every block."
Sarah: "The city's lost. We need to head for the woods—out where they can't track us."
Tunde: "You think we'll make it?"
Darius: smirks. "Better odds than waiting to get stepped on."
Tunde sighed, looking at Max. The dog wagged its tail slightly, still alert.
Tunde: "Alright. I'm in."
Outside, the night echoed with the sound of Titans patrolling the ruins.
They didn't have much time.
