CHAPTER ELEVEN – THE TITAN'S WRATH

The Aftermath of the Fall

The dust settled, revealing the crater where Voidreaper had fallen. Sparks flew from his cracked armor, and his red optics flickered erratically. But he wasn't defeated.

Tunde's Paladin Titan staggered forward, its servos groaning.

Paladin AI (warning tone): "Structural integrity at 56%. Weapon energy reserves depleting."

Tunde (breathing heavily): "Yeah, I figured… but he looks worse, right?"

Voidreaper rose from the rubble, his metal body letting out a sickening screech as it repaired itself. The crimson glow in his optics intensified.

Voidreaper (coldly): "Pathetic. You think you are a Titan?"

Without warning, Voidreaper's arm cannon powered up, charging a deadly energy blast. The air around it crackled, sending shockwaves through the ruined city.

Aisha (over comms, panicked): "Tunde! MOVE!"

Tunde barely had time to react—

BOOM!

A massive explosion engulfed the highway, the sheer force throwing Tunde's Titan back. Skyscrapers trembled, glass shattering as a fireball erupted into the sky.

Paladin AI: "Shields failing. Pilot safety compromised."

Inside the cockpit, Tunde's vision blurred. The Titan's systems were failing.

Tunde (gritting his teeth): "Damn it… I can't go down here."

Voidreaper stalked forward, his heavy metallic feet crunching over the cracked asphalt. His clawed hands flexed, ready to tear the Paladin apart.

Voidreaper: "You are nothing more than a boy playing with a god's weapon."

Tunde forced his Titan to stand, gripping the energy blade still in its holster.

Tunde (smirking despite the pain): "Yeah? Let's see what this 'boy' can do."

Before Voidreaper could strike, a hail of missiles rained down from above!

Voidreaper (looking up, voice laced with anger): "What?"

A squad of resistance aircraft soared through the night sky, firing everything they had at Voidreaper.

Resistance Pilot (over comms): "We got you, Tunde! Get the hell out of there!"

The explosions forced Voidreaper back, allowing Tunde just enough time to react.

Aisha (yelling): "Tunde! Retreat now! We regroup and strike back smarter!"

Tunde hesitated, gripping the controls. His pride told him to finish the fight—but he wasn't stupid. His Titan was on the verge of collapse.

Tunde (reluctantly): "Alright… but I'm not done with him."

He engaged the emergency thrusters, sending the Paladin Titan soaring backward as more missiles rained down, obscuring Voidreaper in flames.

Voidreaper (through the fire, his voice deep and menacing): "Run while you can, organic. Your time is coming."

Tunde sped through the ruins, heading toward the resistance outpost hidden beneath the city. His Titan limped, sparks flying from its damaged plating.

As he disappeared into the night, Voidreaper simply stood there, watching. The fires reflected in his crimson optics.

Voidreaper (activating his comms): "Omega… the pilot has fled. But he will return."

Omega-Engine (responding from his throne room, his deep mechanical voice vibrating through the air): "Then let him come. I will be waiting."

The screen cut off, and Voidreaper clenched his fists.

Voidreaper (whispering to himself): "You have no idea what you're up against, Tunde."

Scene Three: The Resistance's Plan

Tunde's Titan collapsed onto a reinforced platform inside the underground resistance base. Sparks flew as engineers scrambled to repair it.

Tunde stumbled out of the cockpit, exhausted but alive. Aisha rushed to his side, punching him lightly on the shoulder.

Aisha (angry but relieved): "You idiot! You almost got yourself killed!"

Tunde (grinning weakly): "But I didn't. And now we know I can actually fight those things."

General Kalu (stepping forward, arms crossed): "That was reckless. But it proves one thing—we can win."

The group gathered around a large holographic table, where a blueprint of Omega's headquarters appeared.

Kalu: "This is where Omega-Engine controls all the Titans. If we can take this place, we can end their reign."

Aisha: "Easier said than done. That fortress is impenetrable."

Tunde stared at the map, his mind racing.

Tunde: "Not if we fight smart."

He turned to the engineers working on the Titan.

Tunde: "How soon can you get it battle-ready?"

Engineer (grumbling): "It took you ten minutes to break it, and now you want us to fix it in less time?"

Tunde (smirking): "Exactly."

The room filled with nervous laughter—but behind the humor, there was something else.

Hope.

Kalu (nodding): "Then let's prepare. This war isn't over yet."

Tunde gripped the edge of the table, staring at the image of Omega's fortress.

Tunde (muttering to himself): "I'm coming for you, Omega."
