The war was over, but the world was far from safe.
Within the ruins of the battlefield, the leaders of the present and past gathered. The Five Kage stood together—Mei Terumī, Tsunade, Gaara, Ay, and Ōnoki—opposite their revived predecessors. Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and Minato Namikaze listened in silence as the situation was laid before them.
Naruto, standing at the center, crossed his arms. His usual grin was absent, replaced with a rare look of grim determination. "Kaguya's gone for now, but we don't know when she'll come back. And even if she doesn't… the Ōtsutsuki will."
Gaara nodded. "The danger isn't over. If anything, it's only just begun."
Ay, ever the blunt one, scowled. "Tch. So what? We just wait for another god to drop out of the sky?"
"No." Sasuke's voice was cold and sharp. He stood at Naruto's side, his Rinnegan eye glowing faintly. "We prepare."
Tsunade frowned, her arms crossed. "Do we even know what we're dealing with? Kaguya was an unknown, and now you're telling us there are more like her?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah. Hagoromo confirmed it."
The room tensed at the mention of the Sage of Six Paths. Even Hashirama's usual easygoing expression turned serious.
"So what do we know?" Tobirama asked, his analytical mind already working.
Minato glanced at Naruto and Sasuke. "You two fought her directly. What was she capable of?"
Naruto scratched the back of his head, trying to put it into words. "She was on a whole different level. Faster, stronger… she could open dimensions like it was nothing."
Sasuke nodded. "If the others are anything like her, then we're at a severe disadvantage."
Ōnoki, the oldest among them, sighed. "Then our only option is to be ready. We need to strengthen our forces and advance our techniques. We've relied on chakra for centuries, but against enemies like this… it may not be enough."
Hiruzen hummed in thought. "Perhaps it's time we study Kaguya's abilities more closely. If she is the origin of chakra, then understanding her power may give us a way to counter it."
Tobirama nodded. "Agreed. We need intelligence. We need strategy."
Mei tapped her chin. "And what about Kaguya herself? Do you really think she's just going to stay in whatever 'world' she's creating?"
That was the real question.
Naruto looked down, deep in thought.
"I don't know," he admitted. "But I do know this—she's not the biggest threat anymore." He lifted his gaze, his blue eyes blazing with determination. "The Ōtsutsuki are coming. And we're going to be ready."
The room fell into silence, but there was no fear in their eyes. Only resolve.
The war was over.
But the real battle had only just begun.
