After spending a considerable amount of time on Summoning Island, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura finally decided it was time to return. The cubs had shown a lot of potential, but there was still much to learn. As they made their way back through the lush landscape, the group reflected on everything they'd witnessed—the strange yet powerful world they were now in.
When they arrived back at the main clearing, they saw Obito, Might Guy, and Kakashi—covered in dirt and with wide grins on their faces—walking toward them. Behind them, three small wolf pups trotted alongside their feet, tails wagging with excitement.
Naruto's eyes widened as he saw the pups. "Hey, what's going on here?"
Obito chuckled, holding up one of the pups. It was gray, its fur soft and thick, with intense golden eyes. "We had a little fun with these guys. I think we might have gone a bit overboard," Obito said, glancing at Might Guy, who was trying to hold back laughter.
Might Guy's excitement was palpable. "These pups have a lot of potential! We raced them through the island, and they kept up with us. They're definitely strong—more than just cute."
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, his stoic expression unwavering. "You're saying these pups are... like the Nine-Tails cubs?"
Kakashi, ever the calm and collected one, added, "They've got some sort of special connection to the island, just like the Nine-Tails cubs. But I wouldn't compare them directly. They're different creatures with different abilities. Still, they've shown a lot of power."
The three pups were black, gray, and green, each with a unique aura surrounding them. Their energy reminded Naruto of when Kurama first awakened in him—a raw potential just waiting to be unleashed.
Naruto kneeled down to pet the pups, feeling an odd sense of familiarity with them. "They're pretty cool. So, are they also from this world?"
Obito nodded, "Yeah, they're native to this island. We came across them while we were exploring. Like the Nine-Tails cubs, these wolves have a strong connection to the island's energy. They're growing fast, but they've still got a lot to learn."
Sakura leaned forward, watching the three wolf pups interact with each other. "It's strange, though. I didn't think wolves could be this powerful."
"Well, these aren't ordinary wolves," Kakashi replied. "They're different. It seems like this island is full of creatures with untapped potential. They may seem like pups now, but they could be something much greater if trained properly."
Sasuke observed the pups with his Sharingan activated. "These wolves are strong, no doubt. But... I sense something strange in the air. It's almost like they're connected to something bigger."
As they continued to watch, Naruto noticed that the three Nine-Tails cubs from earlier had wandered over to the wolf pups. They circled each other cautiously at first, sniffing and sizing each other up. But then, to everyone's surprise, the cubs and the wolf pups began to play together. They tumbled and ran, their playful growls filling the air as they explored the clearing.
The Nine-Tails cub with yellow fur, resembling Naruto, bounded toward the green wolf pup. The pink-haired cub followed suit, racing after the gray wolf pup. Even the black cub and the black wolf pup joined in, forming a strange but adorable pack of mismatched creatures.
Kurama's voice echoed in Naruto's mind, filled with an almost affectionate tone. "Look at them, Naruto. It's almost like seeing a younger version of myself with those wolf pups. They have so much energy."
Naruto smiled, watching the cubs and pups. "Yeah, they're just like you. But it's strange, seeing them so carefree. It's hard to believe they're connected to Kaguya." This work was created by shredder121
Sasuke, still with his arms crossed, mused, "Perhaps they're not as bound as Kaguya thinks. They may return to her, but I get the sense that they could become their own beings. If they choose to."
The scene before them was both endearing and strange—creatures with the power of Kaguya, playing as if they had no responsibilities. They were free, for the time being, to live their lives as they saw fit.
Might Guy leaned forward with a grin. "Well, while they're playing, maybe we should give them some training of our own! They look like they've got the spirit, but I bet they need more discipline!"
Obito raised an eyebrow. "You just want to wear them out, don't you, Guy?"
"Maybe! But they need to learn some self-control," Might Guy replied with a wink.
Kakashi folded his arms and sighed, watching the cubs and pups running around. "We should focus on training them properly. These creatures are linked to Kaguya, so their potential is far beyond what we see. We can't afford to treat them like just ordinary animals."
As the cubs and pups continued to play, the group stood in thoughtful silence. The fact that these creatures—created by Kaguya herself—had the ability to leave this world and potentially choose their own path only made things more complicated. The power they held was immense, and yet they were so innocent, so unaware of the looming threat that Kaguya posed to the ninja world.
Naruto's voice broke the silence. "I'm not sure where this is going, but I know one thing—we can't let them become part of Kaguya's forces. They deserve a choice."
Sasuke nodded in agreement. "We train them, but we need to make sure they understand they have options. They're not just tools for her."
Sakura smiled, watching the cubs and pups tire themselves out. "I think we're all thinking the same thing. They need to know that they're free to choose."
As the evening wore on, the group made their plans. They would continue to train the Nine-Tails cubs and the wolf pups, teaching them strength and discipline. But in the back of their minds, they knew that these creatures had a greater purpose—whether they realized it or not.
Kaguya's influence loomed large over everything in this world, and yet, despite her power, there was still room for choice. The cubs and pups would grow strong, but whether they would remain bound to her, or break free from her grasp, remained to be seen.
And so, as the sun set on Summoning Island, the creatures—both Nine-Tails cubs and wolf pups—lay down together, their playful antics slowing as sleep overtook them. The ninja watched over them, silently preparing for the challenges ahead, knowing that their bond with these creatures would shape the future of the world they fought to protect.
