He was born in blood, raised in war, and shaped by despair.
Guts, the Black Swordsman, awakens in a world that feels wrong — too quiet, too magical, too alive.
Instead of apostles, he finds spirits. Instead of demons, witches. But death still lurks in every shadow.
When fate throws him in the path of a silver-haired girl and her cursed destiny, Guts doesn’t flinch. He’s seen worse.
In this new world, he will fight again. Not to save it — but to carve a place for himself in it.
Even if it kills him all over again.
I'm writing this review based solely on the first chapter. Firstly, I find the dialogue structured like a theater or movie script to be unappealing. Additionally, the initial interaction between him and the knights feels forced and unrealistic. Sadly, those two points were enough for me not to read further
I love the berserk verse and Guts's character in general. I just wonder where in Berserk was Guts taken away and what will happen to the Berserk verse without Guts.
