Chapter 48: Saving Beauty

Without wasting any more words on this group of social scum, Asakura suddenly lunged forward, smashing his fists into the opponents like cannonballs and kicking at their waists and abdomens. In mere moments, the two men's bodies flew backward like kites with broken strings and landed heavily on the ground.

The scene fell abruptly silent. The remaining thugs stared at the horrified boy with their mouths agape. Their legs began to tremble uncontrollably, and they could vaguely detect an increasingly strong smell of urine.

Asakura was also slightly surprised by his current strength and somewhat worried that the two men he'd sent flying might have been fatally injured. It seemed he needed to temper his strength a bit, otherwise, being a messenger of justice might land him in jail.

His fists whistled through the air, and his kicks landed like thunder in a violent storm. Asakura swiftly weaved through the crowd, felling each thug with a single punch or kick. The sounds of pained wails echoed endlessly.

The alley returned to calm, with only Asakura's steady breathing and Yuuki Kyouko still standing there, a look of shock etched on her face.

Asakura cast a cold glance at her, turned, and left the alley, leaving behind a few curt words.

"What? Do you still want to stay here and keep accompanying them?"

Broken bones were the best lesson. If he hadn't intervened, the woman would have already learned a painful one.

Looking at the glaring [Messenger of Justice] notification, Asakura indifferently averted his eyes. There had never been a true messenger of justice in this world, and he himself felt disdain for being that ridiculous figure. Justice was merely another name for the victor.

"Um, could you wait for me?"

Staggering behind Asakura, Yuuki Kyouko pleaded timidly. Although she presented an image of a serious and cool strong woman with her short, somewhat messy, shoulder-length hair, she looked vulnerable in contrast.

Yuuki Kyouko was born in a poor mountain village. In her childhood, her family's possessions consisted only of a plot of land and a cedar forest. The land was cultivated entirely by hand and barely provided enough food for the whole family year-round. The cedar forest was Yuuki Kyouko's only hope when she came to Tokyo to study at university.

Precisely because she didn't come from a wealthy background, she understood the importance of hard work earlier than her peers. Through relentless effort and self-improvement, she eventually became a university professor with high social standing and was able to marry into the wealthy Yuuki family on relatively equal footing.

From a female perspective, Yuuki Kyouko was quite tall, with dark brown, middle-parted, shoulder-length hair. She usually wore an expressionless face, conveying strength yet seriousness, which could feel quite imposing.

Such an extremely self-disciplined woman, who could even be considered a lady from a prominent family, had come to the bar that day seeking some escape.

This golden phoenix that had flown from humble beginnings seemed to have had a smooth journey, but in reality, she had overcome countless hardships along the way.

She had thought that after marrying into the Yuuki family, she would finally be able to relax and live a happy life, only to discover that Yuuki Shouzou, her husband, was infertile and could not have children.

This tragic news struck Yuuki Kyouko like a bolt from the blue. After working hard for half her life, she had finally married the man she loved and joined a wealthy family, only to be told she would soon be a widow.

Life always had its ups and downs. The world was full of paradoxes, and no matter how careful you were, you might not always achieve fulfillment.

Due to the lack of intimacy between husband and wife, Yuuki Kyouko's personality grew increasingly cold and serious. She was very strict in raising her children, bordering on paranoia. Perhaps this was the manifestation of her unmet desires.

How could such a large Yuuki family be without descendants? How could they let outsiders and rivals know that the male head of the family was impotent? So, it was natural for them to resort to in vitro fertilization to conceive a child named Yuuki Asuna.

When water is full, it overflows, when the moon waxes, it wanes, everything reverses at its extreme, prosperity leads to decline.

The feeling of being a widow was unpleasant. A fire burned within her day and night. Especially as she aged and her needs grew, Yuuki Kyouko found it increasingly difficult to control herself. Countless sleepless nights had driven her almost to the brink.

The pressure from work and life accumulated, and Yuuki Kyouko, with nowhere to vent, finally chose a reckless path. She went to the bar to get drunk and have some fun, hoping to find a man who resonated with her and extinguish the fire in her heart.

Her years of conservatism, old-fashionedness, and seriousness made her feel out of place in this chaotic environment. She wanted to retreat and leave, but a few hooligans had approached her with ill intentions, like she was prey, leading to what Asakura had witnessed and the subsequent events.

He had been like a sudden ray of light, illuminating the darkness and bringing a glimmer of hope.

Asakura looked coldly at the woman who followed him persistently, frowning. "Do you have anything else to say?"

The strong woman who had matured through hardship was at a loss in that moment. Yuuki Kyouko had never encountered a man who had shown her such unexpected kindness. She was momentarily captivated by his indescribable charm, and a numb sensation quickly spread from her heart throughout her body.

The general idea was that the stronger a woman was, the more she yearned to be conquered, and a hint of competitive spirit resided within them.

It was obvious that the cold and dominant boy had touched the deepest part of Yuuki Kyouko's heart, causing her to unconsciously tighten her legs.

Asakura felt troubled and helpless by this woman who stared at him blankly without uttering a word. To avoid further entanglement, he had no intention of listening to whatever she might say and turned around, feigning to leave.

Seeing the boy impatiently trying to depart, Yuuki Kyouko anxiously grabbed the corner of his clothes. Beneath his unremarkable attire, there was actually a surprisingly large, spherical weapon. She pressed this weapon against the boy's tall frame to prevent him from leaving and pleaded desperately.

"Don't go, don't go. Just give me a little more time. I want to thank you properly. Thank you for saving me."

Asakura sighed. "If you let go of me now, I'll consider it thanks enough."

"I could never repay you so insincerely." Yuuki Kyouko let out a nervous laugh and pulled the boy towards the Love Hotel next door. She quickly asked the hotel front desk to book a luxury room.

In the opulent elevator, Asakura silently observed this woman who seemed intent on something he couldn't quite grasp. It couldn't be that she was actually taking him to a hotel, could it? Was thanking people in bed a new trend? Asakura didn't understand, but he was undeniably a little shocked.

Yuuki Kyouko felt his gaze and turned around shyly, allowing the boy to get a clearer and more direct view of her mature, voluptuous figure. She knew exactly what she was doing, and her usually composed heart was racing wildly.

A beautiful smile suddenly bloomed on her typically stern and serious face, as if an iceberg had cracked, revealing a glimpse of her hidden beauty.
