Entering Mongolia

Jill woke up to the smell of very fragrant tea and food that she could not describe. She smiled and turned to see Taylor smiling back at her.

"Good morning"

"Good morning." He kissed her and moved her hair from her face, all in one exquisite motion.

"Did you order breakfast?"

"I did." He picked up the room iPad from the night stand and waved it at her. She smiled and reached for him. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his neck.

"Really. How did I get so lucky?"

"I was thinking the exact same question." He kissed her head and began pulling away.

"You wanted to get an early start."

She sighed dramatically "Call me an idiot without saying I am an idiot."

He laughed and picked her up out of bed. They showered together and she remembered that yesterday she had been a virgin. Suddenly she was embarrassed.

He embraced her and lathered her body then he completely rinsed her off. By the time he was finished she had forgotten that she had been upset, let alone why she was upset.

He left the shower first and when she came out he was already half dressed and eating.

"We really need to buy some more of this tea before we leave."

"And if we find good Mongolian tea?"

"We will buy that as well. I am culturally ignorant. Do they even drink tea?"

"I have no idea." He laughed as she rolled her eyes.

"Well. We will definitely be going to several museums that should help. And hopefully we can hike or ride on the steps. This is a chai and Sada made us masala chai. We need to find both."

"Do you know how to prepare it?" Taylor found himself enjoying her rambling.

"I trained as a chef I will figure it out or I will call Sada and ask."

She shrugged and then ate some fruit and looked up at him.

"So have you gotten any information on the people that attacked us?"

"Yes but it doesn't really make sense. They are mercenaries that are usually controlled by a group of companies."

"Corporate funded mercenaries. Please tell me Simms Ltd has nothing to do with this."

"They don't and neither do any of their competitors nor rivals."

"What corporations are they?"

"Three major pharmaceuticals."

"Pharmaceuticals? I wasn't expecting that."

"Neither was I"

"I think we can assume that the information will relate to pharmaceuticals, cures, or even disease."

"Agreed." Taylor sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"This is all a little frustrating."

"The entire situation or my insane brother?"

"I'm not sure." Taylor frowned as he thought about the situation and Darren.

They finished their breakfast and left for the airport.

Jill had the driver stop to buy tea on their way to the airport. Taylor had to physically drag her from the store as she began to buy every type of chai and Masala chai in the store.

She laughed as they got back into the car with their purchases. "Who knew that there were that many types."

Both her smile and her voice dropped and she became very serious. Her abrupt change in behavior caused Taylor to tense and become vigilant.

"Did you see the man in the orange shirt who came into the store after us? It seemed like he was trying to get my attention."

Taylor carefully looked out of the window. But he did not see anything suspicious.

Jill sat in thought but she did not say anything for a long time. Then she sighed. "Maybe I am just getting paranoid."

"I doubt it. You have very good instincts."

She smiled and ran her fingertips and down his thigh.

"We will be more vigilant. We were attacked so it is feasible that the company advised me to start checking for taps. They are no longer staying hidden."

She was right but it was a pretty bold move. He reluctantly nodded.

"Okay."

"How long will this flight be?" Jill smiled devilishly.

"You know exactly how long it will be."

She narrowed her eyes and slid to him. She kissed his ear and then whispered into it. "We are definitely using the private sleeping compartment this time Mr. Bridge."

He kissed her passionately. "Okay Mrs. Bridge your wish is my command."

The plane ride was far more than either of them had expected and Jill found herself anticipating their next long distance flight. They did not leave the private compartment for the entire flight.

When they touched down Jill moaned in disappointment and rolled over into an empty bed. She frowned but got up anyway.

She understood her marriage was a sham, just something made up to help her brother. And she actually felt it was quite ridiculous at first. At first. Now she felt like it was something she needed. It was something important to her and her future.

Maybe she was crazy thinking this way about a man who was clearly not into her.

She got out of bed, sudden determination coursing through her. Maybe he wasn't into her now but she could convince him. She could approach it from a marketing standpoint.

She would market herself better.

She smiled as she entered the shower, determined that today would be the beginning for both her and Taylor.

Taylor had gotten up hours ago. Had he really been sleeping with his best friend's sister. To make it worse he actual took her virginity. Getting out of the shower first to change the sheets so that she would not remember what he took from her had been cowardly.

He closed his eyes. His mind was racked with guilt. Guilty because he had betrayed his friend, betrayed himself, and even violated a very nice young woman.

He stood up and remembered, belatedly, that he was on a plane and a mission. He sat back down resolved to behave like a man and stop thinking with his dick.

Mongolia was beautiful but she could sense a tenseness between them. Had he changed his mind about her? Had she pushed to hard and now lost him forever? She calmed her mind and focused on the city. She would think about it calmly later.
