"So you wanna fight, huh? Ok then, let's do it and see who wins." Said Disha. Both Disha and Tina then started fighting with eachother. They were pulling each other's hair and, even punching eachother. Unfortunately, Digraj and Ayan couldn't find any teacher, so they didn't have a choice and had to watch Disha fight all alone.
As soon as the bell rang, the teachers came back from the canteen and saw both Disha and Tina fighting with eachother. And, as usual, both of them were called to the principal's office.
"So why did you do this, Disha? Why were you fighting with Tina?" Asked the principal. "Mam, I wasn't fighting with her! She isn't even my friend! I talked to her for the first time today! She was the one who started the fight first." Said Disha.
"Mam, she's a liar! A complete liar! She was the one who was fighting with me because of Aman!" Exclaimed Tina. "What? Why were you fighting with Tina because of my son? Wh...what happened between you three?" Asked the principal, curiously. "Mam, Aman actually proposed me today, and I rejected him in a polite manner. I wasn't even rude to him! But Tina started fighting with me, saying that I disrespected him." Said Disha.
"What do you even mean by that!? You both were fighting for a fricking boy, when you BOTH should focus on your studies!? Is this what we teach in our school!? Do you think that fighting over boys and men would get you jobs!?" Exclaimed the principal. She even called Aman to the office.
"So, why did you propose Disha, Aman? You know how much you're scoring, don't you? She's the topper of the school, and you...you're nothing! Is this what we teach y'all in this school!? To fight for love when y'all should fight for toys!? Why don't you all understand that this is the age to study!? Anyways, this....is too much! Get out Aman! Right now!" Exclaimed the principal.
"And Disha, I'll have to call your mother....even though, it's not your fault. We don't completely know the truth. So let's just call both of your parents and you both can also call some of your friends as evidences if you want to." Said the principal. Disha had no choice, she only had 2 friends, Ayan and Digraj. Ayan was her best friend and the whole school knew that, so they would probably not believe him. Since Disha had no choice, she decided to call Digraj as her evidence. Riya also arrived after a few minutes.
"What happened mam? Did my daughter do something? I mean, did she cause any serious trouble?" Asked Riya, worriedly. "Uh, actually it was just a small fight. Disha was involved in a small argument so I thought of calling you here, to briefly discuss it with you." Said the principal, in a soft voice.
Disha's parents were one of the richest people in India. So everyone always treated them with great respect because of their status. Digraj came into the office after a few minutes, since the principal wanted to talk to him.
"So Digraj, did Tina started the fight first or Disha?" Asked the principal. "Mam, it...it was Disha. She started the fight first, I tried to calm her down but she didn't listen to me. So...I didn't have a choice except, silently watching them fight." Said Digraj with his head down.
"Oh, so it looks like, that Disha is the one who initiated the fight first. Uh Ms Riya, I hope you'll try to discipline your daughter from today onwards. Anyways, Disha please apologise to Tina and go back home." Said the principal.
"Wh...Digraj please tell them the truth! I...you know what happened today! Then why the hell are you lying!? Do...please tell them the truth, Digraj. Please!" Exclaimed Disha. "That's it, Disha. Apologise to Tina right now!" Shouted Riya, angrily.
"But why should I apologise when I haven't even done anything!? Why....won't you believe me just this once, mom? Why!? I...I swear on myself! I didn't initiate the fight! Yo...I am your daughter, right? Yo....you know me! I would never ever do something like that!" Exclaimed Disha.
Riya listened to what Disha said and then, slapped her, infront of everyone. Riya then, told her to apologise to Tina. "I...I am sorry Tina, this will never happen again. Please forgive me." Said Disha. Tina hideously smiled and nodded. She then left with her mother. It was time for Disha to go too, so Riya went outside first and told Disha to come later on.
"Why did you do this? Why?" Asked Disha. "I...I didn't have a choice Disha. "Maybe...someday I'll tell you the truth but not today. I...I am sorry, let's meet tomorrow. I'll explain everything to you tomorrow." Said Digraj, in a low voice.
"Tomorrow? Do you think that there will be a tomorrow for me at this school? Ar....you don't know anything about me! Digraj...you'll regret this mistake for the rest of your life. Bye." Said Disha as she hugged him for the last time. She then, left with tears in her eyes.
After reaching home, she saw her father, Abhishek and mother, Riya waiting for her in the living room. "So, what did you do today at school, huh?" Asked Abhishek. "I...I swear on myself, dad. I...I didn't do it! She...was lying! She is a liar!" Exclaimed Disha.
"And who gave you the permission to shout infront of your parents!??" Exclaimed Abhishek. "I....I am sorry, I didn't mean to disrespect you both but I...I just got a bit angry because....I....you both still don't trust me." Said Disha.
"Trust? Do you think that the world works on trust? It doesn't, Disha. It doesn't! You need evidence in order to prove yourself infront of everyone! Did your principal believe you today? She didn't! Why? Because you didn't have any evidence! You always complain about us not trusting you, but have you ever seen yourself? Have you ever appreciated the things you have, properly? Anyways, we'll change your school right away! There's no way we're sending you to that same school again. I don't want to be disrespected by that filthy principal again." Said Abhishek.
Abhishek then, whispered something into Riya's ear and went into his bedroom. "Disha, get inside your punishment room." Said Riya with a straight face. "Mom, I...am sorry. Please forgive me. I'll never ever repeat this mistake. Please forgive me." Said Disha while sobbing.
Disha was still forcefully taken to the punishment room by her mother, no matter how much she begged, Riya didn't stop beating her until she started crying. Riya then told Disha's babysitter to patch up her wounds. Riya went inside her bedroom after talking to the babysitter.
"Are...you fine Disha? Does it hurt too much?" Asked the babysitter, worriedly. "No..it doesn't, it's alright." Said Disha. "Till when will you hold in your emotions? Why don't you just tell me what happened with you? What's so wrong in opening up to me?" Asked the babysitter.
Disha told the babysitter about everything that happened with her. "So that's why you're sad, huh?" Asked the babysitter.
