Jemima's high heels smacking against the ceramic floors echoed throughout the hallways as she angrily stomped her way towards the double exit doors, looking forward to seeing her girls and filling them in on the absolute bullshit Kaden just pulled.
He was going to see her tonight!
"Jemima! Baby, wait!"
She scoffed at the sound of his voice behind her, hearing his rushed footsteps hurrying towards her. She sped her power stomp, wanting to be away from him so she could calm down enough to not act like a jealous and insecure girlfriend.
But six inch Lucy Lui's were no match for Jordan Air Force One's when it came to speed.
His hand circled around her wrist as he pulled her flush against his chest, "baby."
Jemima turned her head away from him, scowling at his audacity.
"I'm sorry okay? it slipped my mind I promise, I would've never stood you up. The excitement of finally being interested in math just got to me, and I'm sorry, but I really want tonight to happen."
She rolled her eyes, "are you sure? I would hate to get between your night plans with the new girl," she spat sarcastically.
Kaden frowned, "hey, don't do that. We were just going to study, that's it. You're my only girl Jemima, and I really want to take you out on a date tonight."
Jemima sighed as she relaxed her face, finally looking up at him, "I don't want to fight for your attention Kaden, I don't want to feel like that."
"And you won't ever, I'm all yours," he promised, kissing her nose. "So are we still on for tonight?"
She grinned, "pick me up at eight, and don't be late."
"Of course," he lowered his head to kiss her, "let me walk you to your car," he grabbed her bag off her shoulder and slung it over one side of his shoulder, taking the weight off hers.
Jemima looped her arm around his as they walked out of the double exit doors together, all giddy and giggly like some preteen couple.
When they got out to the car park, Jemima spotted her friends already waiting by her car and as they approached, she noticed the girls both had mischievous grins on their faces.
"Tell us you saw the new girl?" Was Zoe's impatient greeting as she greeted them.
Jemima nearly threw her head back with a loud groan. There was just no escaping this new girl was there?
"Ask Kaden, that's his new girl since he's all comfy and touchy feely enough to want to meet her at night," she shrugged, throwing a slight jab at her boyfriend, but obviously her dramatic friends would take her saying something like that a bit too seriously.
Vanessa was fast as she stepped up to Kaden, a scowl taking over her normally soft features, "Kaden if you're cheating on my girl for some new tits, I will feed you to my daddy's Californian alligators!"
Kaden threw his hands up in defence, stepping away from Vanessa and Zoe who was also sending him a death glare, "I promise I am not, Jemima just thinks she's funny."
"At ease soldier," Jemima pulled Vanessa back by her arm.
"Tonight?" Kaden asked as he walked backwards, smiling at Jemima.
"Tonight," she nodded with a blush.
"Tonight you die." Zoe said lowly, her eyes narrowed on the retreating boy who looked to his girlfriend for help.
"Okayyy...time to go," Jemima ushered her friends into her sleek black Jaguar F Pace after waving one final goodbye to her boyfriend.
"I always knew he was a good for nothing cheater!" Zoe spat from the backseat after they all settled into the car.
"He is not! God, you guys didn't even hear the story yet and you're already calling him names," Jemima rolled her eyes as she pressed start on her car.
"So there is a story," Vanessa turned in her seat to face her friend, "spill."
"Put on your seat belts first," she reprimanded both girls and they sluggishly obeyed.
"Now spill!" Zoe urged, sounding impatient.
Jemima sighed, pulling out of the parking lot and beginning the drive to her apartment, "well, I met the new girl today."
