Pretty Mean

Jemima knocked on the wooden door and then patiently waited, humming the tune of a song from her R&B playlist. 


The door shortly swung open and she brightly smiled up at her boyfriend's confused face, "hi baby," she reached up on her tippy toes and kissed him on one side of his cheek while lightly patting the other with her hand. 


Then walked past him and right into his double story beach house without waiting to be invited in. 


Kaden closed the door behind her, "I- I wasn't expecting you here today," he said nervously as he followed behind her through the hallway entrance and into the kitchen. 


“Hm that’s funny, you normally love my surprise visits,” she put her brown Prada handbag down on the long granite kitchen island, then walked towards the silver grey fridge with double doors, opening the freezer and instantly going for the ice-lollies he always kept for her. 


She picked a strawberry flavoured one, “are you angry at me?” She asked, subtly poking the bear.
