Dora stared at them incredulously, her heart beating faster. "What? No, that's ridiculous," she protested weakly. But Daisy and Rose exchanged knowing looks and a mischievous smile played on their lips.

"Oh, Your Highness, we can see right through you," Daisy said teasingly. "I don't know what you're talking about," Dora said, trying to keep her voice steady. Rose leaned forward, a twinkle in her eye.

"You can't fool us, Your Highness. We've seen the way you look at him when he's not looking." Dora felt a flush spread across her cheeks. She couldn't deny that she was attracted to the king, but she didn't want to admit it either. It was foolish, she knew. The king was way out of her league.

He was a powerful and influential man, while she was just a princess, bound by tradition and protocol. But she couldn't help the way she felt. Whenever she was in his presence, her heart would skip a beat, and her stomach would be filled with butterflies.
