Between her legs (Husband)

His eyes zeroed in between her legs before he forced himself to look away, clearing his throat.

He needed to remind himself, she wasn't in her right mind. She was prone to impulsive, unpredictable actions, and this was just another game to her.

But she could see the hesitation in his eyes, the inner battle he fought. Her lips curled into a sly smile. "What's the matter, husband? Is it so hard to fuck your wife?"

She shifted, kneeling on the loveseat, then turned on all fours. The short robe she wore slid up just enough to reveal the curve of her round ass.

Lord help him.

His newly contracted wife was hot. Super hot.

But their marriage was a sham.

He reminded himself of the reasons he'd agreed to it. To save his hospital. To salvage her parents' crumbling business and their spotless reputation.

It was a mutually beneficial arrangement, nothing more.

And yet, here he was, losing his grip.

Everything had been going according to plan.

The hospital was undergoing renovations to meet the highest standards, attracting high-profile patients from all over.

The investments her family had poured in had been a godsend.

But his wife… his insanely gorgeous wife… she was complicating things.

Two years ago, when her parents had approached him for help, he hadn't expected the woman they described as "difficult" and "mentally unstable" to be a walking temptation.

The first time she'd walked into his office, wearing a tight mini-skirt and a dress shirt that hugged her curves, he'd had to fight to keep the session professional.

Two years. That's how long he'd been her psychiatrist, the longest anyone had lasted. Most quit within a week.

When her parents started arranging potential matches for her, he'd felt an unexpected pang of jealousy.

What right did he have to feel jealous? He was a failing psychiatrist with a hospital barely scraping by.

He wasn't good enough for her, or anyone else, for that matter.

But then, to his utter disbelief, she'd chosen him.

Out of all the men her parents had paraded before her, she'd chosen him.

She'd said he was the only one she'd ever felt attached to, the only one she could imagine being with.

He'd leapt at the opportunity, not just to save his hospital, but because…

He was madly, hopelessly in love with her.

But to her, he was just another page in her chaotic, unpredictable story.

And as he stood there, trying to resist her provocative pose, he couldn't help but wonder how many chapters he had left before she turned the page.
