My Stepsister is a Banished Goddess?!

I blinked. Once. Twice.

Then I did what any sane person would do—I smacked my own face.

Nope. Not dreaming.

The silver-haired beauty sitting in front of me, with golden eyes glowing like a damn celestial being, just said the most ridiculous thing ever.

"I am a goddess, banished from heaven," she repeated, her voice calm, as if she hadn't just broken my brain.

"…Huh?" was the only genius response I could come up with.

She sighed, crossing her arms. "The gods caught me… um… indulging in certain pleasures—"

"Wait, wait, wait, WHAT?!" I nearly choked on my own spit.

Her face turned slightly pink, but she quickly recovered. "A celestial body has needs, alright? But apparently, that's a crime in heaven, and now I'm stuck here."

I had so many questions. So, so many questions. But the first one that came out was—

"You got kicked out of heaven for… touching yourself?"

Her eye twitched. "Put it in such crude terms again, and I'll turn your hair pink for a month."

I gulped. Okay, note to self: don't piss off the fallen goddess.

"So what do you want from me?" I asked, crossing my arms.

She smirked. "Shelter. In exchange, I'll grant you any girl you desire."

My jaw dropped. "Wait. Any girl?"

She nodded. "With my divine abilities, I can make any woman fall for you. Your childhood friend? Your hot teacher? That blonde girl you keep fantasizing about—"

"OKAY! We don't need to bring up Yuki Hayasaka here!" I coughed, trying (and failing) to play it cool.

She just stared at me knowingly.

I rubbed my chin, pretending to think. "Hmmm… so you're telling me you can make any girl—"

"Yes."

"ANY girl—"

"Yes."

"…Alright, deal."

She grinned. "Then it's settled. I shall live with you from now on."

And that was the exact moment I knew I had made the dumbest, yet most exciting, decision of my life.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked as we walked toward my house. "You kinda stand out, looking all goddess-like."

She smirked. "I'll handle that."

With a snap of her fingers, a soft golden light surrounded her, and—BAM! The silver-haired celestial beauty was now a brunette. Still hot, but at least she looked like a human and not a divine being who just descended from the heavens.

"Damn," I muttered. "You're still insanely attractive."

She flicked my forehead. "Flatter me all you want, mortal. Now, let's go."

The moment we entered my house, I was immediately hit with the warm scent of home-cooked food.

"Welcome home, Ryo!" my mom, Sayaka Kisaragi, called from the kitchen.

Sayaka Kisaragi, ladies and gentlemen—certified Best Mom™. Beautiful, kind-hearted, and somehow able to raise a failure like me without giving up on life.

Her eyes landed on my guest. "Oh?"

I gulped. "Uh, Mom, this is… um…"

The goddess-turned-human smirked at me. Oh no. She wasn't gonna help me at all, was she?

"She's… uh… an orphan!" I blurted out. "Yeah! And now she's gonna live with us as my stepsister!"

My mom blinked. Once. Twice.

Then she smiled warmly. "Oh, you poor thing! You can stay here as long as you need!"

Well. That was easier than expected.

"Also," I continued, "she's my older sister now. Yup. Older sister."

"OLDER SISTER?!"

A high-pitched voice suddenly screeched from the hallway.

Enter Himari Kisaragi—my hyperactive little sister. Cute, annoying, and currently vibrating with excitement.

"You mean I have an onee-chan now?!" she gasped, her eyes sparkling like she just won the lottery.

The goddess chuckled. "It seems so."

Without warning, Himari launched herself at her and wrapped her in a bear hug. "Yay! I always wanted a big sister!"

The goddess—now looking slightly overwhelmed—awkwardly patted Himari's head. "Yes… I suppose I am your big sister now."

Mom wiped a tear. "Oh, my heart. This is so wholesome."

I sighed in relief. Alright. Crisis averted.

During dinner, we all sat around the table, with my new stepsister still looking mildly confused by human customs.

"So," Mom said, "what's your name, dear?"

The goddess froze.

…Right. She didn't have a name.

Think fast, goddess!

"Well…" she cleared her throat, "I was never given a name."

Mom gasped. "Oh no, that's so sad!"

Himari, meanwhile, smacked the table. "Then we gotta name her! It's only right!"

The goddess hesitated. "That… could be acceptable."

Mom smiled warmly. "How about Aoi?"

"Aoi…" The goddess repeated the name, testing how it felt.

Then, she smiled. "I like it."

Mom clapped her hands. "Then it's settled! Welcome to the Kisaragi family, Aoi!"

As the dinner continued, I leaned back, watching my new stepsister eat like a normal human and chat with my family like she totally belonged here.

Just yesterday, I was a loser with zero prospects.

Now, I had a hot goddess living in my house, promising me a harem.

Yup. Life was getting very interesting.
