One Week Later
A week had passed since the U.A. entrance exam.
For most applicants, the waiting period was torture. Many spent their days obsessing over every moment of the exam—wondering if they had done enough, if they had scored well, if they had left an impression.
For Ryo Kisaragi?
It was just another week.
He lounged in his room, idly flipping through a book, only half paying attention to the words on the page. His mind wasn't on the exam, nor was he anxiously awaiting the results like the others. He already knew he passed.
How could he not?
He had obliterated more robots than anyone in Battle Center B, displayed superior combat skills, and, for good measure, vaporized the Zero-Pointer. The real question wasn't if he got in.
It was how high his score was.
Despite his confidence, he had to admit—U.A. had been… interesting.
He had walked into the entrance exam expecting a simple power test. But watching other students—seeing their quirks, strategies, and raw potential—had been more fun than he anticipated. A few of them actually had promise.
Not that it mattered.
The only reason he was going to U.A. was because it was the most efficient path forward. If he was going to be a Pro Hero, he might as well do it at the top school.
A knock on the door snapped him from his thoughts.
"Ryo, there's a package for you."
His eyes flickered toward the clock. Right on schedule.
Ryo stood, stretching lazily before making his way to the door. His mother stood there, holding a small, rectangular package with the U.A. logo.
"Your results." She handed it over, watching his reaction.
Ryo took it without a word, turning it over in his hands before walking back to his room.
His mother sighed. "You could at least pretend to be excited."
"I could," Ryo admitted, shutting the door behind him.
Ryo sat at his desk, examining the package.
Tearing it open with one hand, he let the small, disk-shaped device drop onto his desk. A moment later, a bright glow filled the room.
And then—
"I AM HERE… WITH YOUR RESULTS!"
The booming voice of All Might filled the air, the screen projecting his towering figure, signature grin in place.
Ryo raised an eyebrow. Well, this is new.
"All Might?" he muttered. He had expected some generic results screen, not a personal message from the Symbol of Peace himself.
All Might continued, as larger than life as ever.
"YOUNG KISARAGI! After reviewing your performance in the U.A. Entrance Exam, I am pleased to deliver this message… YOU HAVE PASSED!"
The screen changed, displaying his Villain Points.
Villain Points: 96
Ryo barely reacted. Exactly what he expected.
But then—
"HOWEVER!" All Might's voice deepened with emotion. "AT U.A., A TRUE HERO IS NOT MEASURED BY STRENGTH ALONE! COURAGE, SELFLESSNESS, AND THE WILL TO PROTECT OTHERS—THESE QUALITIES DEFINE A REAL HERO!"
The footage shifted, replaying moments from the exam.
Ryo watched as scenes he hadn't thought twice about were highlighted—
Sniping an enemy before it could ambush a struggling student.
Destroying threats before others even realized they were there.
Vaporizing the Zero-Pointer with surgical precision—ensuring not a single student was harmed.
"FOR THESE ACTS," All Might declared, "YOU HAVE EARNED HERO POINTS!"
Hero Points: 60
Ryo smirked.
He wasn't even trying to be a hero. He was just efficient.
And yet—he still crushed the competition.
"YOUR FINAL SCORE…" All Might's voice built up anticipation.
Villain Points: 96
Hero Points: 60
TOTAL SCORE: 156!
"YOUNG KISARAGI… WELCOME TO U.A. HIGH SCHOOL!"
The screen faded to black.
Ryo exhaled, leaning back in his chair.
That had to be one of the highest scores ever.
A slow smirk played on his lips.
"Maybe U.A. won't be boring after all."
