I Won

Leaving the closet, Moxie's movement is staggered as her body is still twitching.

"Don't get the wrong idea, I just- It felt good, but it doesn't mean I like you! I was just... using you, obviously."

"I see... thank you?"

Walking out to the lobby, Juilia sees us, her face evolves into a smirk.

Her words were slow and teasing. "Moxie, are you alright? You look like you're sweating and out of breath."

Moxie's eyes widen as she blushes.

"I wonder what kind of workout you guys had. I didn't see you at any of the machines. But, I did hear some strange noise from the clos-"

Running over, she covers Juilia's mouth.

"Don't say stuff like that!" Moxie's eyes dart around before glaring at me. "I- I'll come over tomorrow after work, like I said, don't you dare sell it to anyone else."

Uncovering her mouth, she grins. "Oooh, where are you going together?"

"Stop instigating Juilia!"

With a wave, I exit the gym.

"You have my word, Moxie."

****

With a deep exhale, I open the door, leaving my shoes at the entrance.

It still feels strange walking into this penthouse and be able to call it my own.

Before I'm even in the room, I hear Cafun groaning.

"Gravvveesss, where is my dinner?"

She walks in, rubbing her eyes, wearing the tight white shirt and... nothing to cover down below.

"Sorry, I forgot to pick up groceries."

"Huh!?" Her eyes begin to water. "How am I going to survive?"

To think that this woman is older than me. "The human body can go 30 days without needing food, you'll manage."

She lunges at me with puppy dog eyes.

Despite having her cat out in the wind, I'm able to be a little more stoic due to the previous events of today.

It doesnt mean I dont want to pin her down to the kitchen counter and fuck her.

But I'm still too awkward to do something like that.

"Fine, fine, we'll get something delivered."

"Yippie!"

Her dancing is interrupted as she gasps. "Oh yeah, guess who got the job!?!" Tilting her head up, Cafun puffs her chest out.

"Wow, well I didn't have a doubt in my mind." I only had doubts, they must be desperate. "So what will you be doing?"

"Well, she had said I'd be doing something with the paper, then there would be another thing. But, it's not as simple as that, because there was one very important thing I had to do."

Huh... "Sounds like you'll have your hands full."

Leaning in way too close, she gets up in my face. "What's that scar across your nose. Did you get into a fight?"

"What?" Looking into the mirror, she's right, there's a scar, looking closer, there's also one on my throat. Is this because I was shot there?

"Did you win the fight?" Stancing up, she punches the air. "Hit 'em with the one two!"

"It wasn't a fight, more of an execution. But, I did end up winning."
