Chapter 9: The Path to Ascension

The atmosphere was thick with the weight of unspoken words. I stood before Naruto and Sasuke, carefully crafting my response. Each word was a step towards my ultimate goal, but I had to tread lightly. My true strength, my greatest advantage, was something I could never reveal—not yet.

Naruto's voice broke the silence. "So you're saying you're not looking to control everything? You don't want to take chakra from this world?"

I met his gaze, a cool calmness in my eyes. "No. I do not need your chakra. I do not seek to dominate this world, nor do I wish to drain it for my own power."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "Then what exactly do you want, Kaguya?" If you're hearing this, then the person creating this audiobook did not obtain permission. This work was created by shredder121

My lips curled into a small smile. "I want what I've always wanted: a future free from the shackles of the Ōtsutsuki. I am done with their ways. I will not simply take from this world, but I will reshape it."

The words were measured, precise. And yet, behind them lay a depth that neither Naruto nor Sasuke could comprehend.

"You've already caused enough chaos," Naruto growled, his fists tightening. "Why should we trust you?"

"I'm not asking for your trust," I replied calmly, unfazed by his aggression. "I'm offering you a warning. The Ōtsutsuki will come again. And when they do, they will not stop until they consume everything in their path. I will be there to stand in their way."

Sasuke remained silent, his eyes still calculating. He wasn't easily fooled, and neither was I. But in time, he would understand. I needed them to see the truth, but they had to come to it on their own.

I could feel the Tailed Beasts stirring in the distance, their energy awakening. "I will undo what I've done," I said, my voice softening. "I will release the Tailed Beasts. I will lift the Infinite Tsukuyomi. It is the least I can do for this world after everything."

Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. "You'll let them go? Just like that?"

I nodded slowly. "Yes. The Tailed Beasts are not tools to be used. They are not prisoners. They will be free."

I turned my gaze to the horizon. "And as for the Infinite Tsukuyomi… it will end. You can return to the world that you knew before."

Sasuke watched me with suspicion, but even he could sense the sincerity in my words. There was no trickery, no hidden agenda—at least, not in the way he thought.

I lifted my hand, and for a brief moment, I allowed my chakra to pulse around me. Slowly, the seals that bound the Tailed Beasts to this world unraveled. One by one, they began to return to the natural order, their chakra flooding back into the world. The Nine-Tails' chakra roared in the distance, signaling its return to freedom.

Naruto looked stunned, and Sasuke's expression remained unreadable.

"You've really done it," Naruto murmured.

I gave him no further explanation. I didn't need to justify my actions. The Tailed Beasts were free, and the Infinite Tsukuyomi was undone. That was all that mattered.

"And now, Naruto," I said quietly, "I will leave."

"You're leaving?" Sasuke's voice was tinged with disbelief.

"Yes. I have nothing more to offer you, nothing more to take," I said softly. "I have my own path to follow, and it lies far beyond the reach of this world. But do not forget what I've done here today. I've released the Tailed Beasts, undone the Tsukuyomi, and allowed your world to breathe again."

Naruto wanted to speak, but I raised my hand, signaling that there was no more to be said. They had their answers. They didn't need to understand everything. Not yet.

Before they could protest, I turned and began to walk away, my figure disappearing into the distance. But I paused one last time, my voice cutting through the silence. "Remember this, Naruto. The Ōtsutsuki are not done. They will return. And when they do, I will be there to stand against them. Whether you believe me or not, that is the truth."

And with that, I vanished.
