Chapter 15: Unfinished Business

As the last remnants of the previous Kage faded away, the silence in the room became deafening. The current Kage and the members of Team 7 stood together, a heavy realization hanging in the air. The fate of the world no longer rested in the hands of the past. It was theirs now.

Naruto clenched his fists, feeling the weight of responsibility press against his chest. His eyes flickered over to Sasuke, who stood beside him with a silent, steady presence. Kakashi, as always, was by their side, his eyes slightly narrowed, but there was a deep understanding in them—an understanding of the road ahead.

"We've got a lot of work to do," Naruto muttered, breaking the silence.

Tsunade looked at him, her face set in determination. "Naruto, the truth is, we don't even know what's coming. We've heard about Kaguya, the Ōtsutsuki, and now... it's time for us to prepare for what's next."

Gaara spoke up, his usual stoic expression betraying a hint of concern. "Naruto's right. This isn't just about defending our villages. It's about something much bigger—something none of us can fully comprehend yet."

Sasuke crossed his arms, his mind racing through the information he'd gathered, piecing together the fragments of the situation. "If Kaguya's warnings about the Ōtsutsuki are real, then we need to make sure the villages are ready. And not just the villages, but everyone—because when they come, they won't care about borders or alliances."

Kakashi nodded in agreement. "It's not just about stopping them. We need to understand them. Kaguya may be unpredictable, but she's right about one thing—the Ōtsutsuki are coming. And if we don't prepare... it could be the end of everything we've fought for."

Naruto nodded gravely, feeling the weight of their words. But just as the tension began to settle, Obito, who had been standing quietly in the corner, suddenly stepped forward.

"Don't forget," Obito said, his voice slightly softer than usual, "You'll need more than just strength to face what's coming. You'll need... something else."

The room went quiet, all eyes turning to Obito, whose words hung in the air.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked, his voice a little sharper than he intended.

Obito's gaze was distant, almost as though he were remembering something far-off. "You can fight the Ōtsutsuki, but there's a part of this you don't understand yet. Kaguya is far more complicated than she's letting on. She's not just a threat—she's also a key. A key to something... bigger."

Naruto frowned, processing the words. "Are you saying she's controlling everything?"

Obito shook his head. "Not exactly. But she has a connection to the Ōtsutsuki that you don't fully grasp yet. I know her more than you think. Kaguya may be your ancestor, Naruto, but she's also someone who can change the course of everything, for better or worse. She'll be a pivotal player, whether you like it or not."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "You know her better than anyone, don't you?"

Obito didn't answer right away. He just stared at the floor, lost in thought. Finally, he looked up. "I know her more than you think. And I know the kind of power she holds. But you can't trust her. Not completely."

Naruto, now more than ever, felt a pang of conflict within him. He had always trusted his instincts and believed that people could change. But Kaguya was different. Her power, her past... it was a dangerous combination, and as much as he wanted to believe she could change, he wasn't sure it was possible.

"We'll have to keep an eye on her," Tsunade said, her voice firm. "No one can be trusted completely—not after everything we've been through."

Gaara nodded, his eyes hardening with resolve. "We'll prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. We can't afford to be unprepared."

The room was filled with tension as the current Kage and Team 7 stared at each other, knowing that the world they had once protected was about to change again. The Ōtsutsuki were coming, and they had to be ready.

Meanwhile, far beyond the borders of the Elemental Nations, deep within Kaguya's newly created world, the creation process continued. Her white Zetsu swarmed the vast forests, mountains, and landscapes that she had forged. Massive summoning beasts roamed freely, growing stronger with each passing day. Their presence was an integral part of her plan.

Black Zetsu, ever loyal, watched from the shadows, his mind racing with calculations. "They'll be ready soon. The space is growing, and as more beasts roam and the white Zetsu multiply, the chakra in the air increases. It won't be long before you have enough strength to challenge the Ōtsutsuki."

Kaguya's gaze was fixed on the ever-growing expanse of her world, her mind already racing with her plans. "Soon, this world will be mine to command. And when the Ōtsutsuki come... they won't know what hit them."

The Zetsu, stronger by the day, would be her soldiers, her tools. The summoning beasts would be her guardians, and together, they would become unstoppable. But Kaguya knew there was still much to do. The process wasn't complete. The world was still growing, and she needed time.

But time was something she didn't have. The Ōtsutsuki were coming, and with them, the future would either be destroyed or forged anew.

Back in the Elemental Nations, the Kage prepared for what was coming. They couldn't afford to waste time. The Ōtsutsuki threat was real, and as the days passed, they would have to come up with new strategies, new alliances, and new ways to survive.

Naruto, Sasuke, and the others knew this wasn't just about protecting their homes. It was about protecting their families, their legacies, and the future itself.

And they weren't going to let it fall. Not without a fight.
