Chapter 6: Ambushed in the Void

The heroes barely had a moment to react before the shadowy creatures lunged at them. The beings were unlike anything they had faced before—fluid and shifting, yet moving with terrifying speed. Their glowing red eyes pulsed with malice as they surrounded the warriors.

Thor was the first to strike, calling down lightning from the storm-filled void. Mjolnir cracked through the darkness, vaporizing several of the creatures instantly. "They fall easily enough!" he roared.

"Then let's give them everything we've got!" Captain Marvel blasted forward, her fists glowing with cosmic energy as she tore through the attackers.

But for every creature destroyed, more emerged from the surrounding darkness. The void itself seemed to birth them endlessly.

"Doctor Strange, we need a way out of here!" Iron Man shouted, firing repulsor blasts as he dodged razor-sharp tendrils.

Doctor Strange's hands moved rapidly, forming glowing sigils in the air. "They are feeding off the dimensional rift we traveled through! We must close it, or they will keep coming!"

Doraemon pulled out a device from his pocket and tossed it toward Wong. "Use this—it should stabilize the portal long enough to shut it down!"

Wong caught the gadget, chanting an incantation while placing the device in the air. The portal flickered, struggling against the unnatural force holding it open.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Messi and Ronaldo fought side by side. Messi's Nebula-enhanced agility allowed him to weave through the creatures, striking with deadly precision. Ronaldo, his Spider-Man-like reflexes kicking in, swung between the monsters, webbing them up before delivering powerful strikes.

Ben 10 slammed his Omnitrix, shifting into Diamondhead. "Let's see if they can handle this!" He created massive crystalline spikes, impaling several enemies before shattering them into dust.

Black Panther and Gamora fought back-to-back, slashing through the creatures with deadly efficiency. "They may be endless," Black Panther growled, "but we are warriors!"

"Then we better fight like it," Gamora replied, stabbing a monster through the head before flipping away.

Rocket Raccoon loaded his blaster with high-explosive rounds and cackled. "Let's see how they like this!" He unleashed a barrage of explosions, briefly clearing a path.

Drax, covered in black ichor from the creatures, grinned wildly. "I shall enjoy destroying them all!"

Just as the team seemed to be gaining the upper hand, a piercing shriek filled the air. A colossal figure emerged from the void, its body shifting and reforming like liquid darkness. Its eyes burned with an unnatural fire.

"The entity," Scarlet Witch whispered in horror.

Doctor Strange gritted his teeth. "We need to get out of here. Now."

Wong, having finished the ritual, gave a final push to the spell. The portal sealed with a thunderous snap, cutting off the endless stream of creatures.

But the entity remained.

A deep, echoing voice rumbled through the void. "You think you can stop me? You are but flickering lights in an infinite abyss."

The heroes braced themselves. The real battle had just begun.
