Luckily when I pulled the door open, I could just see Isabella waiting for me outside. She looked frightened but she was alright.


She signed as she asked, why she poked her head behind me to see what was going on.


'I'm fine. This is Alpha Vernon, he's the good guy. You are coming with us.'


I introduced Vernon to her briefly. Her eyes widened after she saw Vernon, but it wasn't scared, it was more like she was intrigued. Her eyes were so bright in the dark.
