I wanted to go and take a look at her before I go. But I didn't trust myself to be able to go after seeing her. So I bit my tongue and held back my urges.


When I loaded the last box of the supplies we needed into the RV, Adonis nudged me.


"Go, I see you eyeing her room all night."


He said as he motioned to the room Shannon was staying in. In the dark of the night, I couldn't quite see what his expression was. But I knew he was right. I should go. So I nodded and just put the box down and headed to her room.
