“T-Thank you for saving me,” I murmured a little shy and intimidated to talk to him but I had to. I owe him a lot when he saved me from Alec. He made sure I was safe under his protection.


He gave me a short glance. I didn’t know what was wrong with what I said but he suddenly became uncomfortable beside me and refused to look at my face again.
